because the girls are always revealed after the boy gender has been revealed...people are more likely to be happy for twin boy and girl(both genders) than twin boys/twin girls(same genders)
If the the twin boy was revealed after the girl, they would have the same reaction.

Why people can't understand. They already had a son, then the first reveals it to be a boy...the second reveals it to be a girl...obviously they got so damn excited.
If they already had a daughter and the first reveal was a girl and second reveal was a boy...they would have the same reaction.
Obviously people want to experience what it feels to have both son and daughter. Sorry but this is common sense so I don't understand when people complain about this thing and take it too seriously.
A couple who got 3-4 daughters would probably want to have a son as their 5th child.

My wife and I had 2 girls 5 years apart. We both had to work 50 plus hours a week to make ends meet!
I worked days and she worked afternoons. As much as a blessing as 2 babies are, I don't know
if I could have done it! I assume that we could have made it work if id did happen... at least we would have gave it

Everyone has an impression that they get more excited by a girl. Every time I watch gender reveals it always seems couples are wayyyy more excited by a boy than a girl, especially dads. They all want a son. But that's my observation from watching hundreds of gender reveal videos.
Either way the couples are all excited, babies are exciting! 😆
Personally, I want a son instead of a daughter, I’ve always gotten along way better with boys than girls. I would never do these silly gender reveals because they just seem so pointless and self-centered, but if I did, I may be pretty visibly disappointed if I popped the balloon and pink confetti came out :/
