Asif Talpur Do yourself a favour and dont comment bullshit. But if you want to get some more brutal response, just ask the same from a romanian, or even better, from a Pole... Now get lost fool..
@@asiftalpur3758 To get it clear for you from a German standpoint. Pretty sure it is not actually Explosive Reactive Armor. The German army doesn't use ERA in order to protect its infantry. It might be Non-Explosive Reactive Armor. For example ceramics wedged between steel plates, so that when a projectile hits the armor and punctures the outer steel plate, the ceramic plate breaks and crumbles and the splinters and dust are pushed into the path of the projectile.
@@HedgehogZone Puma is very good, but Lynx is more modern. I have no idea where you get the idea that Lynx is cheap! In fact it seems to be one of the most expensive IFV on the market. Anyway both are very good like other IFV on the market. TBH i think all modern IFV have very similar characteristics in terms of range, protection and firepower with only small differences. The biggest difference is probably costs, spare parts and maintenance for the base unit. Since these are fairly customizable platforms, the differences will also depend on the type of systems a buyer decides to add to them, ie 20mm cannon vs 40mm, APS, sights and sensors, ATGM etc...
@@lordtemplar9274 The Lynx is indeed supposed to be a more affordable alternative to the Puma and is aimed at more budget-oriented export customers. Not every military can afford a 9 million USD IFV. Lynx intentionally leaves out some of the technologies used on the Puma to keep the price down. Examples would be the HPD Powerpack and the decoupled running gear.
@@lordtemplar9274 Its quite simple. Both are German Rheinmetall products. The Puma was developed specially for the German Army and their unique military doctrine. Thats why it fits very well within the german army, it was build for them. Its no product to sell on global markets. Its very heavy and very expensive in comparison. Therefore Rheinmetall also builds its Lynx for global market because this could fit in many more armys around the world.

No, it doesen't rely on cameras for situational awareness. It possess an actually larger amount of analog periscopes than other IFVs, you can see them everywhere on the top of the hull. The commanders sight also doesen't rely on camera, it is connected with a analog fibre-optical channel, that also delivers around fourteen times better image quality than a camera. Additionally, a upgrade with 360° thermal surveillance is scheduled.
Hungary probably will choose the Puma as part of the land forces modernization program. 💪🏻🇭🇺
Congrats. the hungarian army is getting better and better every year!
Asif Talpur Actually this is a very stupid question... Never mind.

Puma uses Clara ERA
Puma is no doubt very good, but i prefer the Lynx
The lynx is the cheap version of the puma!
@@HedgehogZone ??? Puma and Lynx are nothing alike.
