Thanks! I know right?! I was blown away by his story! I always knew it was a matter of time before I came across some old industry folks who had a garage full of treasures. Warner Brothers Studios is down the street from us so there has to be gold in these homes.
Vintage 20 yrs to 99 yrs. Antiques 100yr + .People often call vintage antique but it's not. You really got some cool items from the old guy. Good pic's ...Nice day w your boys...
Thanks! Yea I just put comps in for the first time on the episode I uploaded yesterday. Check it out, we went on a yard sale scavenger hunt lol. It was awesome!
Just subscribed. Don't normally but the interaction with your kids and with the gentleman at the first sale were a breath of fresh air. I wish you and your family all the best. Happy Easter. I'll continue the video now.
Wow, how I would of loved for my kids to come join me at yard sales. No one wanted to go, not even my wife. Though she did come with me from time to time and she made some great finds. I remember she found a PS2 video game for a buck hiding among a box of books that we were able to sell for over $100. I think it was some Silent Hill game, complete. She also found vintage ray bans sunglasses at a thrift store for a buck and we resold it that same day online for $200. Fun times, but my kids never wanted to go and my wife just never got into it. Now all my kids have moved out of the house and I do this all by myself :(
@@bikepickers1436 Yeah they were vintage bausch and lomb ray bans in original case and in mint condition. She got it on dollar day at a Goodwill. But yeah appreciate the videos, thank you!
Loved watching your trip on a Bike.. So Cool.. The kids are learning well.. Characateur (sp?) of Clark Gable, may have been signed by people who worked with him on the set.. The Remington may have been a Woman's model. I was given one as a gift for HS Graduation to Shave my legs.. I am Old as dirt.. don't need it now.. ~ Try small cloth reusable bags to hang on the Milk Crate or handlebars for the small finds.. Hope you make some money off some of that..
17:26 - going nuts, I want to see the blue fan vase, the green cups, and whats in the black latch box on the right? LOL I have learned from my father that garage sales are addicting.
That sale with the negative cutter/ film guy. I was there on the Friday the sale started. Picked up a big container of M.U.S.C.L.E Men and a little box of Little Homies. He is so right about the way they work in film. My husband will work super long hours for months at a time, then nothing for a few months.
@@bikepickers1436 He is a film tech for one of the big players. Basically he scans and records film. Transfers film to digital and digital to film. I see your family around quite a bit, but didn't know till today that you had a YT channel. I watch some other resellers and one of your videos came up as a suggestion. I'm just around the corner from the Goodwill and there almost daily. I'll say hi next time I see you all.
Thanks. Yea I’m very curious about it too. There are some places nearby I think I can take it and get them to take a look at it. Maybe that would be a cool episode.
Thanks! To be honest I thought I did! I got home and started editing this episode and when I saw it I was like oh yea what happened to that thing lol. I totally intended to buy it!
The Hot Wheel car is from mcDonalds in the late 80's early 90's and the looney tune toys are from Tiny Toons, early 90's I believe. I only know this because I work at McDonald from 88 to about 94.
TINY TOONS!!! Yes! Oh my gosh I’ve been trying to remember what those were called lol. I kept thinking they were Animaniacs. So cool man, love finding these.
Nope I don’t have one. I’m purposely limiting myself to the milk crate, we live in a small 2 bed apartment with 5 people, we don’t have room for a bunch of stuff lol. I have thought about that a lot though
@@bikepickers1436 she certainly should have, you could always go back and see if she still has the other 2,i only know as i bought the hardback ones in a box as a set from charity shop in uk for one pound and sold them on ebay for ten pounds plus postage.
