    Nnewi is moving on, getting transformed gradually, but I wish attention would be paid to durable and world class infrastructure so it doesn't end up like Onitsha. Good work Eboh

      It's a blessing with a silver lining. Government cannot withdraw any capital investment for any flimsy reason. We have proven time and time again that we can develop ourselves. The onus is on us to believe in ourselves and DO IT!!!

      What is your point Lagos stop receiving funding since Obasanjo time plus Enugu still receives federal allocation

    • @madubaym
      @madubaym 3 года назад +1

      @@pauldirisu9359 Lagos has received so much more in government funds and other revenue generated infrastructure, pre-Obasanjo. The likes of Nnewi has been literally birthed organically from an insignificant town status. Since you mentioned Enugu; essential government funding for much needed projects have been sadly lacking, in spite of the paltry allocation. The snail-paced development of the international airport attests to this.

      I concur with all this madam! Nigeria is a land or wonders as far as I am concerned. Some of your fellow citizens might think I'm wrong. In fact, I have been up and down Nigeria from the privacy of my living room and I'm marvelled to notice it. Of course, like many countries under this sun, there bad and good things. But considering its big population, Nigeria has the infrastructure, it is beatifully built, its youth is resourceful, free enterprise is a reality, its human resources are highly qualified, people have free minds and what is really amazes me your fighting spirit! Kudos to you all!

    Anambra is blessed in the sense that the capital city and LGA are seeing developments based on individual efforts. The LGA chairmen should put some work to plan the cities because people will be building. The southeast has the highest individual driven development in the country but we need visionary people that know how to plan a city to take responsibilities to ensure each LGA has a properly planned city centre and other relevant institutions that will make the place thrive and be prosperous.

    I heard someone said something about we should not war, yes another war will certainly destroy all the efforts made with the twenty pounds of 1970 and again worsen the mass exodus of SE diaspora population now all over the world and you know the massive diaspora of SE has negative implications when you consider the loss of grand and great grands coming back to SE, culture and families, instead of war I think SE should learn diplomacy, you stand to win more with diplomacy, consensus building bilateral and multilateralism. Again the Ohaneze should think about SE economics, leave the FG lack of presence alone, think about your own home grown economic models to reposition SE, think strategically forget criticism of FG and tribal politics and focus on a development think tank that's what you need.
