- How to make an orange pineapple pepper sauce using scotch bonnet or habanero peppers. This Caribbean inspired hot sauce is full of flavor and packed with heat from super hot scotch bonnet peppers. Like most of the pepper sauces form Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Barbados and the rest of the West Indian islands, this sauce is to be respected for it's heat.

it will last about 3 weeks in the fridge. IF you want it to last longer, add some vinegar and keep in the fridge.. should last a couple months.
Can I use olive oil with it to last longer or just vinegar
glad i found this. just made tonight with habanero peppers. its is amazing. i used a fresh cut pineapple and fresh squeezed oranges.. also threw the pulp from the oranges in. thanks for posting this... even from 6 years ago!
OMG I cant wait to get the time to try this! One of my friends is from Trinidad and she makes her own green colored sauce that is quite chunky and tastes great! I would love to see more vids on different sauces. Keep em coming! Yum!
I just made this recipe and it turned out great... thanks for sharing it
I just made this with jalapeños from my garden, and it rocks! I didn't have any of the "Caribbean Sunshine".
Tried this recipe, absolutely awsome, great on virtually anything. It got better over time and started fermenting in the bottle!
this is a new twist to making pepper sauce ...i am gonna try it ...i love pepper.....hot pepper that is....wiri-wiri is nice for tomato sauce too.
Just made some. Epic flavour!!! thanks man!

my first attempt at a hot sauce was a failure. then i found this one. i used habanero peppers and it came out amazing. thank you, sir.
Hi Chris, I did this sauce couple weeks ago but used peach instead of pineapple. Also put 30 habanero in the batch. Very nice with plenty of heat! Thanks
Thanks Chris....this is tasty tasty tasty.....one love
Chris am from Grenada and scotch bonnet peppers are what we have , but I've seen the peppers of different kinds in which I've never seen before and the way you mixed up different flavors with them man!! Ooh looks tasty keep up the good work.
Chris, I love the comments you make. This sure sounds delishous, I am going to have to make some next weekend & also make some BBQ chicken to go along with it. Can't wait. Thanks for posting your videos.
Oooowweeeee I'm over here in hot heaven, have me remincing on the sauce my grandma(god rest her soul) use to send from St Thomas when we was kids... Thank you this put my jar jerk seasons to shame...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the recipe I made this and it was tasty perfect for BBQ OR FISH
Had to use Habaneros and was great. #1 asked for sauce by family & friends. Great in pasta & shrimp...
I made this hit sauce and put it on my pizza and it was so good
Chris, this is going next to my green seasoning in the fridge. This looks great !!! I can just imagine how the food will taste with this. 2 thumbs up Chris!!!
goes well with meats.. BBQ, stewed, roasted. Also great on sandwiches and I'm always excited when I have some with my eggs and ham in the morning for breakfast. It's a super hot condiment, so I'm sure it would be a good topping for hamburgers and hot dogs
about 1/2 cup and yes, it will cause it to be a bit milder.
DUDE, loved this video, just what i was looking for. But, im going to make mines with mangos. seems like we have the same taste cause im planning on making smoked bbq chicken with the flavor enhancement of my sweet mango habanero sauce. I already did the pear(sauce) bbq chicken style and i was so amazed. now the sweet MHS should be a freaking blast.
What a great sauce, I have made it twice now, This last sauce contained 70 Scotch bonnets, Nice and HOT!,, Thx
oh meh gawd! this thing looking bess!!
Good job, Chris! I have been following your recipes for a while now. I finally got a chance to make this sauce and it is awesome and all my friends love it as well. The only difference is I used Trinidad scorpion morugas instead of the scotch bonnet or hobbies. Thanks for sharing!
How many trinidad Scorpion peppers did you use? I’ve has those now and I want to make a hot sauce that is usebule! Me and my friends can handle real spicy. But I feel this is a whole other level!
Love this on seafood 🖒❤
Oh Gawd boi! Meh mouth watering!!!
I've tried several commercial orange-pineapple habanero sauces on my chicken (BBQ'd & fried), and now, I think it's time to make my own. 👍🙀😎😱😊😳

Right on!! Wonder how this recipe would work with Carolina Reaper’s?!
Chris I have fresh frozen ghost peppers , can I thaw and use the seeds to grow more
can i add garlic and shadow benny to this? or will it spoil the taste? thanks much.
I'm liking this! But I'm down in trini so fresh pineapple will be the order of the day. Will report back with my final product.
pure fire
wicked recipe btw
Would it last long without vinegar or lime?
You are right, its dynamite! But this sauce I am going to make! I love hot peppers!
thanks Chris
Hey brother do you think this recipe would be good with Thai dragon peppers?? I'm having trouble finding bonnets
How long will it last? Does it need to be kept in the fridge?
Nice
wicked sauce
Just made myself some. Woooooooooo that was hot. Next time I will just use half with the seeds. Then see how that goes. Nice but fire on da plate.
this sht looks good. I just did a pineapple habanero sauce but I de-seeded and it's not hot at all. imma try it again and add the OJ and leave the seeds next time!
20 scotch bonnets....my mouth is on fire!! This is another one of your great recipes. I am going to try this but reduce the amount of the peppers. Thank you again for the tips. Yum yum
how much vinegar. Can I use orange habaneroes instead of scotch bonnett peppers?
I tried this with about 10 ripe and 3 green bhutes lets just say the orange juice and the pineapple got almost quadrupled but its great
subscribed
you da man, mon
how long is this sauce good for, i see there aren't any preservatives in it?
acids and sugar are natural preservatives so a few weeks id say
HI IM TOYA AND IM FROM THE STATES I BEEN IN TRINIDAD FOR A FEW MONTHS, AND THIS IS MY 4TH TIME COMING, EVERY TIME IM HERE THEY HAVE THIS FRUIT U CAN GET WITH A HOT PEPPER SAUCE ON IT BUT IT LOOKS KIND OF GREEN IT IS SO GOOD IS IT THE SAME STUFF TO USE TO MAKE THE PEPPER SAUCE?? I LOVE THE GARLIC SAUCE HERE AND THE PEPPER SAUCE HERE THE DOUBLES AND THE BUST UP SHUT.. AND I LUV YOUR RECIPES.. :)
WE ARE NOT DEAF NOR BLIND YOU KNOW!
You ever do any hot sauce with carolina reepers? I have a friend growing some and want to do a sauce.
I just made a bourbon cherry reaper sauce. it is amazing. I took 2 cups of bourbon and 2 10 oz bottles of marchino cherries. (i put both in, but took half out to make chocolate covered reaper cherries b4 I blended it). dump cherries in boubon ( i used 3 reapers cut up) and set aside cherry sauce in fridge. cover for 1 week. take out and blend it. i removed 2 reapers so only 1 was in the sauce after soaking. (i chocolate coated the rest with the cherries) after blending it.. put in saucepan, add cherry juice from original cherries. 1/2 cup of cane syrup. 2 cups of brown sugar. bring to a boil then simmer for 45 mins to an hour. it. is. amazing. can't wait to try orange pineapple habenero hot sauce now! thanks for the recipe!
@@stillcrazy4023 AWSOME man thanks for the idea. If I come up will another idea I will post it.
Most youtube videos about "spicy cooking" mention adding a dash of Frank's hot sauce, or something like that. And I know people that would say "whoo! That's got some kick!"..
I guess to each their own, but I am like you. I've made some of your sauces and yes they are wicket hot, but that's how they should be! +REP
I would like to try this but I am afraid to be sneezing and coughing when I put it on the stove to cook. Please let me know.thanks
GET A MASK, THEY SELL AT DOLLAR STORE ALSO TURN ON STOVE VENT, THAT HELPS
how much more vinegar?
whats hotter?, habenero's, or scotch bonnets? :) thanks for the video. i'm gonna try this!
Depends on the variety. Both are considered fairly hot, but plain old orange habs will be far milder than red savinas or chocolate habs. Same goes for the various scotch bonnet varieties. Either way it will be a mean sauce and you won't be disappointed. If you like it extra hot, try some Trinidad scorpion morugas or Carolina reapers like I did. It will melt concrete then!
can I use Carolina Reaper Peppers in this recipe and if so how many should I use?
i have just use alot less peppers i would go with 5 to 7 depending on your heat prefrence
Fresh Scotch Bonnet peppers are so hard to find in Vancouver.
The vinegar is to preserve it
I can't believe you handled the peppers, with your bare hands ,not me ,I learned my lessons with hot peppers. ........
If you add vinegar will increase the shelf life
you make it sound like you're using this as pasta sauce
I would add cut up roasted tidbits of pineapple.
Lubes it
Can you put the ingredients
This pepper sauce will certainly get sour and spoil within a week you forget to main ingredient cis garluc also vinegar
Keep it away from the batty man dem also..lmfao
Thanks, your recipes are really lovely, do you have any tasty slimming (I know... two words which should never be used together - but let's break the mould... Caribbean style!!!) menus that you could share???
Also, I am new to RUclips, so please feel free to subscribe too!!! My own videos will be up soon!!! ;) so, don't forget to show some love!!!
Thanx!!!
I must confess that I have a similar experience. NOT FUN!
Spicy, fruity, whack it on your flip-flops
jesus how tf can you chop those without gloves
Fresh pineapple 100% better
20 scotch bonnets ?! I hear about nuclear war, this is more terrible. Plonked in the toilets. Rather than orange juice, limé is better.
