The game is an unsung masterpiece done by a small studio with technical prowess & imagination of 60 people .... games like these are rare and the are like an interactive movie + ASABO studio used their in-house engine for this and Microsoft Flight Simulator .... i hope they will bring a sequel to this game ..... i bought it full price & bought it as a gift for a friend on steam .... i'm proud in investing in such an unique product nowdays.

I am sorry, but that's the thing, a game, first and foremost, should be just that - a GAME - not a walking movie simulator. Sure, it has good graphics, engaging story, beautiful atmosphere, the mood, the vibe, etc. But it's a walking movie simulator..... Also has bad A.I. and some flawed gameplay mechanics and "stealth" mechanics are worse than games from 90s... So, I think all the 9s and 10s this game got are a LOT MORE than it deserved.
It's appreciated when RUclipsrs show the settings before jumping into the game IMO, I'm always curious about them.
EDIT: I see a few people don't understand what I mean when I say I'm curious 😂

My mind was blown by this game as well!! The story, music and DIALOGUES!! Characters have legit small talks!! And then you get to witness how a little daddy's girl grows up into a warrior and how her behavior gets influenced by her new friends. Crazy crazy game, love it and hope for the continuation!!
Yeah, it felt very immersive. I've stared writing fan fiction for a game now and focus a lot on character building through banter :)

@@RoaringOrange The game is a sort of solo survival ordeal, with the story mode Wintermute having a few npcs. I wanted to write a story set in more of an urban area with more people rather than the wilderness you are stuck in as a player, but set in the same world and with the same challenges otherwise. It's become a pretty cool little tale so far ;)

This is a truly beautiful game, with a haunting soundtrack. The actress who does the voice acting for Amicia, also does it in German and French flawlessly.
They are 3 different actresses. Charlotte McBurney is the original one, the French one is Leopoldine Serre, and the German I don't know, but definitely a completely different actress :)
I love the light effects and vegetation on the walls. Never heard of this game, yet looks so nice

This game is…brilliant, to put it simply. The musical score is incredible, and the scenery? Beautiful. Hands-down one of my favorite plays ever
this has to be my favorite and honestly one of the only games that really intrigued me. especially me having a younger brother irl, i felt the need to protect the boy in the game so much. it took me days to complete the game and the whole story really came together. also the music was perfect for the game too. just all in all, amazing and waiting for the 2nd game

This game was very underrated. It’s a good story, is immersive, has great music...I can’t believe ppl slept on such commendable work.

Not a lot of games have good music, but I did enjoy the use of the Cello at certain tense points. Simplistic but very effective.
this game is so underrated and idk why when it's so good. it's one of my favorites. the studio that made it are actually making a sequel so i hope hollow plays it when it comes out because it'll be super fun to watch! i'm so excited!!

That game came out a while back already and was not noticed at the time. I played it, and it's honestly one of the most beautiful games I have ever played.

@@MistaUanteik420 Statistically, it's the safest by far, that's why our population is out of control. I'm speaking objectively of course, it may seem unsafe, but overall it's not even close. We don't even really have to deal with animals or disease all that much. It used to be horrendous. Covid killed a lot, but in relation to the population, not really. The plague however killed 1/3 of human beings at the time.

Just finished it. It is one hell of a game. You stopped it here just as it got emotional. I normally hate kids, but Hugo is very likable and I teared up when he started asking about his Mother. The attention to detail in this game is really nice. I got the real sense of being in medieval France. Also the plot twists just keep on coming. It's not a game, it's a journey.

This is an amazing game. Being a mainly online shooter type gamer I rarely finish story based single player games, it takes something really special to get me hooked enough to spend the time it takes, but this I pretty much marathoned through in just a couple of sessions, it was soo good.

Some of the French accents are a bit off sometimes, but overall it’s a pretty well done game. It definitely looks really good. And I love how everything keeps you on edge at all times, like in a thriller... I’m sold!

Came here after requiems ending, looking for nicer times. It's insane how the characters progressed. Also never noticed how their accents also changed, doesn't really make a lot of sense even in the amount of time that passed, they still are in France.

I just started playing the game for the second time a few days ago and then RUclips recommends this video what a coincidence. Such a good game ( even though I died a ton ) It brought out my inner history nerd because it was set in medieval France during the Hundred Years War and the Black Death.

It looks am zing, the medieval Europe and plague period is reconstructed so faithfully, the design is fantastic, and you really care about the characters. little Hugo is adorable... this game has so much heart and character. really special.

This game stays with you. There's just something about it. The thing that still 'bothers' me about it is the pure difficulty level of it. I feel it was so difficult (as someone who admittedly hasn't played a lot of games in a while) that I felt I enjoyed it more 'nostalgically' than while I was playing it. A very 'beautiful' game but so challenging that sometimes it was hard to 'enjoy' it while playing it.
