We think we have found the CHEAPEST way to explore EUROPE in a Motorhome, RV or van! Join us this week as we start our epic road trip journey to relocate this brand new Motorhome from the factory in Italy, to its permanent home as part of the JustGo Hire fleet in the UK.

We have done this previously with Just Go. I would be cautious re the advertising price of £19 as you need to include the travel to Italy, transport to the collection site and then site charges. There is additional pressure that it is brand new and you are responsible for it and keeping it that way! Then you drop it at Teddington in Bedford and you have the challenge of organising transport home. We did not find this a cheap holiday or relaxing.
I’m pretty sure the title of this video and the full series will cover all of this. These additional costs are incurred when you rent a motorhome from anywhere.
@@RoamingRadfords I think the pressure of the van being brand new was enormous for us as new to camper Van's. For that reason we only stayed at paid sites and ate out a lot. We did not want to clean the oven! However, it was a good introduction to camper van life. As you are experienced in camper Van's I imagine different for you. We wished we had gone for a rental in UK first so we had a little more knowledge.
I rented one and knocked down a wall with it on day 2 😂 Then I could relax knowing I had already lost my deposit.
You've advertised it as £19 per day which in reality it is. not. It's one thing I'd expect a company to do.

No! I hate putting duvet covers on duvets at the best of times. But I really hate putting duvet covers on duvets in a small space with 4 other adult size people and a camera. The space is great, it was just full of big duvets and people!
We have done this in America, Australia and New Zealand. Driving across America twice in new 8 berth RV’s each time for 21 days for a $1 a day, yep that’s 21 Dollars for the 21 day trip.

Hi guys. We’re coming out next week to pick up a rental, but have to take it back to Edinburgh and not Luton. So, we have to drive to Edinburgh first, so that we have a car there when we return. Costs go up as we have to pay for two overnight stays plus parking for 10 days. The bedding as l understand isn’t included in the price. It’s £50 for double and about £30 for a single. Unless, you know differently then that’s an unexpected saving. We look forward to more uploads. Take care.
Yes there are always additional costs when renting. We felt this the most when we’ve rented in the US when we have to get flights out there for the 5 of us, then a couple of hotel rooms at the start, then they charge you extra for everything.
Fortunately in the Just Go relocation deal the bedding was included, although we understand this is usually an optional extra when renting in the UK. You do however always get a kitchen kit included in all Just Go rentals, which isn’t the case when renting in the US.

Thanks for the update. We were thinking of doing an RV trip in the states, but if we do we will bear in mind the additional costs as you point out. We love Venice as well as Tuscany. We park just over the water. Rough and ready but easy to get in via the tram. Enjoy.
Any in other industry/vehicle type someone would be paid to drive/relocate/deliver a vehicle. Not pay the owner to do the work for them.
I know! That’s why this is a rare opportunity to try this way of exploring Europe!

Great adventure. Quite nice setup to be able to test hands on Motorhome before buying for those who are considering. Another note, didnt you get the Avata? No fpv footage in the vids anymore. For this trip understandble due to space limit of travel bag but i guess the kids are into gaming and would be come good pilots quickly by practicing with DJI virtual flight simulator
Thanks. Yes I didn’t take the Avata with us on this trip, but I did take the Mini 3 Pro and got it out a few times. Unfortunately drones are banned in Morocco and I didn’t take a drone with us then or to the States with us at Christmas so we’ve not had much opportunity for drone footage but hopefully will take more on this years trips. The boys aren’t that interested in learning the drone flying.

Youve used the same disengenuose strategy as the company to get people sucked in before revealing the reality as some in the comments have pointed out. You are being used by the company as indeed many you tubers are. Having said this I appreciate you have a living to make.
It’s £199 to rent the motorhome and enjoy a European holiday in it for 10 days. It’s an absolute bargain. Sure there is the cost to get to Italy to pick it up, but we regularly travel to America to rent an RV for a holiday there and I can assure you that cost us a lot more than it did to get to Pisa, and you still have all the cost of putting fuel in it etc. if you can’t see that this is a great deal to get a taster of what it’s like to drive a Motorhome and enjoy a European holiday then clearly this isn’t for you, but looking at how quickly this offer sells out, it’s an amazing deal for most.

great way to get an affordable hire, only comment would be that although you said unlimited mileage and you can choose any route there is a restriction on ferry crossing, you can only use the Calais/Dover crossing but as its included then no real dramas there.
You can probably use any crossing you want, they just include a free crossing at Calais
@@RoamingRadfords on website under "what's included" it does state that all vehicles must use Calais/Dover crossing. Which crossing did you use and did you have to pay for it?
You can use any “time” crossing you like. We will go in to this in more detail as the series progresses. But the crossing is pre-paid by JustGo, it’s a freight booking, so just turn up and get on the next available boat.
That's great price but how much is deposit
As with all motorhome rentals, they always take a large deposit. I believe this one was £2k

These companies aren't daft ,, making it look good all for £19 ,, but look at the thousands of pounds these companies save on delivering there motorhomes back to the uk using a logistic company,,, spaceships rentals do it as well big rip off,,,,sorry just my buissness head talking ,excellent for the rental companies
This offer is excellent for both. The rental company gets the vehicle relocated for less than it would cost to ship it, and people like ourselves get a cheap European rental. It’s a win win if you ask me, and it’s clearly priced correctly as they’ve sold out this time and have a waiting list for the next time.
You are right and they want you to take all the risk eg £2000 deposit etc.
Clearly you’ve not rented a motorhome before as this is standard if you rent a motorhome from anywhere.

Where in UK do you have to deliver to ?
They have depots in England, Scotland and Ireland. We of course chose England and the depot is up the road from us in Toddington.
sorry but i have to disagree with your son that said Italians know how to do chips, us Brits do them better has our chips in a chip shop and some hotels and restaurants serve fresh not frozen

I think the big Sony DSLR with shotgun mic on I was swinging around made things obvious enough, besides the glasses have a flashing light on to show when you’re recording or streaming for just that reason.
