Blackburn Rovers supporter here - I have a lot of respect for Millwall. One of the last few proper clubs around, and their supporters are some of the last proper Londoners. I hope they get promoted, I'd love to see them terrorise the corporate Premier League!
Ælfrēd II I wouldn't say so anymore. Moving out of Upton Park was the final nail in the coffin for that club. At least the supporters who travelled in from Essex could recapture their youth spent with fathers/grandfathers etc. but that's no longer the case. Locally run businesses in and around West Ham have been forced to close as well given they no longer receive matchday revenues. Reinforces your point!

I'm a groundhopper and I've visited The Den. I met some truly passionate, knowledgable and friendly football fans. Obviously they have a few boneheads down there but I thoroughly enjoyed my day down there. Proper club with proper fans.

Even recently the odd goal difference v Everton should have been ruled out as should BOTH of our goals v Brighton who also had a perfectly good late winning goal in extra time ruled out and were not given a cast iron penalty.THAT is why we broke the football league record when we had a decent team to match by going almost THREE seasons,in succession unbeaten at home totalling 59 games. Used to be at The OLD Den which we left 25 years ago. Small ground ( though we got a capacity 41,000 v Spurs 1967 FA Cup and I could not get in ) and with fans standing on all sides right on top of the pitch it was no wonder we we broke The Football League record of going nearly 3 seasons unbeaten at home ( 59 games ) 1964-66. I WAS THERE !!!
