The KLM 747 shown here (11s) was retired 4 months after this video was published and is currently stored at Taruel Airport in Spain. It is a sad image to see such a beauty abandoned.

If you'd like to spot planes as they take off out over the Pacific Ocean to the west at LAX, go to Pershing Drive between Westchester Parkway and Imperial Highway. You can stand right at the end of the runway.

Some nice colourful aircraft there. I like the KLM and Air Tahiti, is that, at the beginning, and the rarely seen LAN Dreamliner. And that's before we even get to 6:44, good lord. Impressive A380 lineup! was that LH A346 doing a go-around?

NIce video. Funny that the A380super needs to taxi via A, and not like any others on C, when taking off from RW25. Toooooo BIG for C. Also gives the ATC- Tower some work, due to the fact that 90% of the time RW25L is for approach and landing only. So when A380 taking off from 25L, the airplane on the visual approach needs to switch over to RW25R for the landing.

I gotta say the A340-600 is a grand aircraft. If you didn’t know, in the middle of economy class, there is a downstairs for like 5 or 6 bathrooms.

Amazing video! I assume this is Imperial Hill? Can you spot the aircraft that arrive from the runway around where the In n Out burger is after they land or would Imperial Hill location, not work for that?

Then you working at LAX on the ramp as a fueler, short stuff every day, flights coming with deley as usual. It is not so romantic then you standing on the Imperial Hill and watching planes leaving into the sky. It takes raughly about 60 fuelers per shift to fuel all of this planes at LAX. That's is impressive. And on the rainy day it just getting even "better "

The 787 may be big but look how much bigger that Emirates A380 is at 7:45 than the JAL 787 in front of it!

You would think with the price of oil below $50 per barrel the cost of jet fuel would be low enough that airlines would not be in such a great hurry to retire all their 4-engine aircraft. I the big 4-engine planes, A-340, 747, A380, and hope they stay in service for a long time.

How about that? A380s from Lufthansa, BA, and Air France all lined up with each other. I don't think I've ever seen the same aircraft type from Europe's arguably top three airlines lined up at the same airport.
