What a horrific design. Do engineers get bonuses for creating extra flag time for dealership mechanics? There can't possibly be a legitimate reason for headlights to have wrap behind tabs. Well done Subaru.
Great refresher for my second replacement event! One tip: in my case the twist-off cover at the back of the headlight was impossible to move by normal means. What worked well was an oil filter wrench -- the pliers type, not the band type. Thanks!
Great video I watch a lot of A1 auto videos since you work for them tell them to start telling them how long the job should take at the start of them video it would be a great help letting people know if they want to take on the job and how much the job would cost if someone else did the job and hoe much people is saving by doing there self
Wow! Great video but I think for me it's going to be a no-go. With no lift and working with jackstands it's just too big of a job. It's too bad too because it would be great to replace them for my wife but I didn't realize I would have to remove the entire front of the car plus more… Great content though. Thank you for the video.
So basically, unless I have a lift in my garage, I have to take it to the dealer or to a mechanic to have done. Good video but it’s an incredible amount of work just to change a headlight. That’s a Subaru. My wife’s Chrysler van is the same way.

Are there one-for-one LED replacement bulbs (instead of entire assemblies) worth looking at for these vehicles?
would this plug and play into a forester premium edition?

Excellent video, thanks for making it!
Do you know the name of the black plastic piece removed to replace the headlight. That part broke on my car

Why do you have to remove the entire bumper first?
how do I turn down the music ; ) Sorry, it is a bit loud
I only install CAPA certified parts.
