The amount of fuel they burn is insane compared to how many whales they have actually saved.

The Japanese were very tolerant of Sea Shepherd's ridiculous shenanigans, it is indeed in international waters, and the Sea Shepherd team got in a small boat and tried to block one of the Japanese larger ships water cooling vents up, these are basically like holes at the sides of the ship where you see water spilling out, it's basically using the water to cool the ship engine. Sea Shepherd went around one of the ships on a blow up motorboat and tried to block up these holes. The Japanese were very tolerant, because at that point they were in their legal right to actually engage with Sea Shepherd who were literally attacking their ship, however the Japanese chose to just ignore them, it turns our their efforts to hurt the ship didn't work, I think the pressure of the pump just pushed the stuff out that they shoved into the pipe holes.

Get a bigger ship, join in with the international maritime law breaking- you can legally attack criminals at sea in international waters, have tri registration on hull for name and flag changing of own ice class vessel and ram the offending ships and sink them . If you dont want to ram them, privately charter a real skull&crossbone crew willing and able to attack. There are mercinaries and you could fund these mercinaries to do this dirty work. Sea sheppard can stand by as rescue vessel for japanese crew. Why donate for this???! If you want a proactive crew armed with an ice class vessel with double hull and triple bow, they are ready and waiting.

Yet the Japanese hit their whale quota every year, all sea shepherd is is a minor inconvenience. I can garentee you the Japanese only chase them or do anything is just to fuck with them because while they are in 1 spot there is 3 other harpoon boats. Since 2019 when Japan left the iwc they officially started commercial whale hunting again.

These guys honestly kinda made me want to root for the whalers and if in international waters they threw something on or at my ship id have to respond to it as a threat
The Japanese were very tolerant of Sea Shepherd's ridiculous shenanigans, it is indeed in international waters, and the Sea Shepherd team got in a small boat and tried to block one of the Japanese larger ships water cooling vents up, these are basically like holes at the sides of the ship where you see water spilling out, it's basically using the water to cool the ship engine. Sea Shepherd went around one of the ships on a blow up motorboat and tried to block up these holes. The Japanese were very tolerant, because at that point they were in their legal right to actually engage with Sea Shepherd who were literally attacking their ship, however the Japanese chose to just ignore them, it turns our their efforts to hurt the ship didn't work, I think the pressure of the pump just pushed the stuff out that they shoved into the pipe holes.
They think they're powerless in that incident wait til a Japanese Navy Frigate shows up lol.
If I ever win the lottery I'm going to buy a whaling ship 😂😂
