That was a nice blast on a beautiful classic. I remember ripping down that stretch of road in my brand new '83 Mustang GT way back then. Thanks for sharing.
Nice video. Great bike. Good that Honda beat Kawasaki to market with 750cc bikes. that made Kawasaki go up to 900cc to best Honda. Well played. It gave us these legends. Both bikes are great - Honda & Kawasaki. Thanks for this video. Ride safe.
My buddy bought the blue '75 on Christmas Eve, 1974. So I had to buy the red one on New Year's Eve. We rode from Winnipeg in the middle of Canada down to Los Angeles in May, and we had heads turning all the way. Still remember one fellow who told us "My friend has an orgasm whenever he sees one of these! Don't know what he'd do if he saw two!"
I wish the roads in the U.K. Were like that, empty and with a great backdrop. I can't wait to get some more miles on my 75 Z1B this spring and summer.Ride safe. Thanks Jon
i hate these videos because when i was 21 back in 1975 i had a z-1 900 b .and now that i am 62 years old i miss that bike so bad. i ride now a 1999 softail custom. but its just a ride .if they at Kawasaki would ever re-make that bike ,i would buy it a heartbeat .and that would make me fell like a young man again
i know what you mean, ive got a 1970 ford muscle car,i could replace it with a new mustang that will do everything better but it wont have that rawness about it
If you got the dough for the softail why not by another Z? It's not like they have become so rare you cant find one...even tho the prices went up the last couple years...
Sorry to do this to you but my father in law found one by chance in pieces payed f all for it built it and she sits in my shed shining away unrestored matching numbers... I took it for a ride yesterday afternoon the sound is amazing. When I told him “took ya bike out mate” he said good get on the bloody thing and ride it that’s what it’s for!!!
Man that bike is beautiful. I got a nice Z1b, but not nearly as perfect as yours. A full frame up restore is on the way though. Most vids I see the owners never exceeds 4K revs. Not you, you let it rip getting on the highway. I pretty sure the cyclist in front of you was playing a little cat and mouse with you. 😎
Yes there is at least one thing more boring than other people's GoPro videos. Guys like you and their empty RUclips pages. Nothing. Not a single thing. No videos no nothing. You created a RUclips account so you can just leave comments on people's pages who do have videos? How boring can you get man? Now go back to your grandmas basement and shut up.
Thank you thank you thank you for wringing out that magnificent engine for us all to hear.

Beautiful noise!😀 lovely put down of the troll Grizzly. Can't wait for the good weather now to get out on my 1974 Z1A.
Makes me want to restore the one I have sitting in my garage and get off my Harley. :)
What a beautiful bike.
Thanks Donald, it is a nice clean well cared for survivor type Z1 that found me instead of me finding it.

We call that empty roads in Toronto. Nice bike, video, and scenery.
About the time I got into bikes, these things would fly. The '73 model set Honda on its heels.

Nice looking kwaka
Beautiful
i had one the same as this in 83 to 86,have to make do with my 2016 ZX10 now
This road reminds me of the Keanu peninsula from Anchorage to Homer Alaska
That isn't a coincidence James. This is the Seward Highway that runs from Anchorage to Homer Ak.
Nice bike I had the pleasure of riding my friends bike absolutely amazing don't make bikes like that anymore the year was1977

Hairy chested beast isn't it?
ma premiere vraie moto 900 Z1 de 1973
Estou restaurando uma dessa.
Towards the end saw blue smoke from over heating....
Just saying....
Bike wasn’t overheating and there’s no blue smoke coming from it then or now.
