i paid 27 on deep discount with free shipping it had sold out initially but when they re stocked i jumped on it there are deals to be found if you are a bit patient
Stir Of Echoes is a underrated gem of the late 90s i'm glad that Lionsgate did not forgot this film and release it on 4K I'm glad this film is now on 4K this is a great horror classic of the 90s and I'm glad that Lionsgate releases it on 4K at last i'm hoping they should do 4K release of the films from the Vestron Video label maybe a 4K release of the The Wraith from them that will be awesome.
Richard Matheson (“The Incredible Shrinking Man” and many episodes of Twilight Zone) wrote “Stir of Echoes” in 1958. M. Night Shyamalan wrote “Sixth Sense” in 1995. I’m thinking M. Night might have read the book before writing his story.
Great movie. Very underrated. Sixth Sense came out first in August 1999 and this movie came out about a month after this and actually did really well at the box office. The most important element both films have in common is the both have music scores by James Newton Howard which are important to each film. I’ll definitely have to get this.
They both came out at the same time with the same price $34.99 I bought kickboxer but for only 1 movie almost $40 is expensive hopefully the prices go down for stir of echoes is a ripoff for only 1 movie
@@jessecordova990 of course kickboxer is a classic with the new special features and new interviews with van damme and finally the international version is definitely worth the money and alsome steelbook I bought it late cause Amazon took forever to ship it to me I should get it tomorrow I’ll let u know what I think of the new cut buddy The only thing missing was new interviews with the niece myleeee 😂😂😂😂
@@jessecordova990 and also if they ever release it again they be able to find the existing cuts if there still out there to make the movie complete in its uncut version fully completed with all the scenes back in the movie only the Australian vhs 📼 have it
@@RobertQuant I produced the disc. WE HAVE A NEW INTERVIEW WITH THE DIRECTOR. It's just under 20 minutes in full 4k HDR. Did you even bother to watch the review before complaining about a disc you have no intention to buy?!? We reached out to Kevin to participate and he wasn't available. What opportunity did we miss exactly?
How did this get passed me!?!?!?!? I love this movie and have it on DVD and Blu-Ray - It's a fantastic film! I'm really excited for this 4k. Thanks for the heads up!
I have the Imprint bluray that was released a few years ago. They kind of did a few underrated releases at the time like The Gift and The Mothman Prophecies
I got this recently and loved the film! Dare I say underrated!

What the hell? I had no idea this was coming out.
That’s a beautiful looking Steelbook, but that box and the inside art contains major spoilers.

I went to the Kentucky theater in Lexington ky and seen this movie when it came out....
I grabbed it....
Hopefully the price goes down $40 for 1 movie big rippp off
Did the frame rate drop to like 5 fps at the end or just my playback? 😅
Edit* on this video, not stir of echos.
Got that exact bluray years and years ago. It was pretty good but not really looking to get this one. Looks cool though

Steelbook of the year is KICKBOXER

@RobertQuant tbh that movie doesn't interest me so I'm good but KICKBOXER a KLASSIC!

It is OK film...not worth $35 for me
I'm sticking with $5 blu-ray for this one
That’s what I’m saying almost $40 with shipping these prices need to go down there o it worth $20 to $25
Especially we didn’t get new special features no new interviews with Kevin bacon miss opportunity or the director

I find this more rewatchable than Sixth Sense.

I didn't like the 4K transfer of this. I couldnt tell the difference except that the dark scenes were too dark.
