Yeah 2.0 looks terrible. I watched nxt during 2010 when NXT was really just a game show. Where wrestlers would do competitions like “who can eat the most candy?” Or “fastest time on a assault course?”. Theyd also have some matches but nothing too crazy. And whoever won the whole event. got a Raw or Smackdown contract. But I seen a little bit of the likes of Finn and Auska and they were amazing.
Loving this so far! If you're getting tired of the restrictions of GM mode, you might have fun in Universe mode. You could relive all these eras with creative matches and more variety. It might be more investment of time, so maybe it wouldn't be worth it
I think NXT UL is the hardest rival, they literally get free money due to tripled finances from their tv deal. Unless you can make a lot out of a little then it’s a constant uphill battle over 50 weeks
I feel like the classes are okay but the better way to implement it would be to limit it to only affecting the overall quality of the show. like the individual matchups shouldn't matter as long as each class is represented somewhere on the card. thats the better way to do it

I like the idea of this series, looking forward to the rest! Also, if you dislike the styles, do a custom roster and just switch everyone to specialist, that way you won't be punished for doing rivalries you want to do

@@eamer9400 Well, technically popularity, a superstar's match specialties and rivalries all still contribute, but yeah it does replace the styles with an element of randomness. Mostly the original suggestion applies those who would prefer a lore/fantasy/storytelling experience to a technical/skill based playthrough.
Ok I'm in :) 1 thing I will say is you said Asuka and Baszler had a great rivalry in NXT but Baszler joined just after Asuka had to vacate and got called up, they never fought. Both had amazing runs though :)

The classes needing to match up really doesn't gel well with me, I should be able to pair a giant up with a bruise if I want and not have it be effected because it wasn't giant vs cruiser or bruiser vs fighter. I am all with u on it not making any sense because some of my favourite matches were matches like Undertaker vs Kane who are both the same kind of fighters. hey man just a thought. you can make a long term running series out of this mode. bc you can adjust the popularity of each superstar and their status before each draft. so you do your draft. go through the year and then you record everything for each superstar. pop, role, status (you could have retirements and legends that don't wrestle anymore can become inactive) and then adjust the draft pool before the next year to make it match how the previous year ended. then you can try to draft all of the same people you had on the roster the previous year. I find this makes the mode way more fun and makes me feel way more invested
Idk about singles but I had undertaker in a tag team rivalry and a regular rivalry at the same time so idk why u couldn't have multiple regular rivalries.
Loving it as always. Wondering if you can win a 15 week without finishing any rivalries so just letting everyone get to a level 4 but never paying the rivalry off 🤔
you can change fighter type before you start. i have changed all the specialists so people like edge,riddle and rollins are actually useful. or you could change everyone to specialist.
I don’t like that styles make the rating instead of star power. Old GM mode was base on popularity instead of styles. Also wish the stamina didn’t go down so fast.

I did, you need to remember I said at the start of the series that I’m selecting wrestlers who I consider to be more NXT than main roster. Seth & Roman featured for years on main roster
Great Vids ! You probably know this, but If you have (for exemple)a lvl 3 tag-team rivalry and you put a 1v1 match between 2 of the member of the rivalry, the 1 on 1 match is gonna be better!! Dont know if its really true, but after playing 2-3 GM Mode, thats what I think
Personally, I don't dislike NXT 2.0, I think it's more of a mixed-bag. People like Bron, Tony D, Grayson, Diamond Mine, really makes it for me. But the writing certainly isn't as sharp as it was before and...Toxic Attraction, ugh. So I see why that would turn off a lot of people. I don't think there was necessarily a need to totally overhaul the show to introduce these people.
Anyone who has been in the main roster over a year or had a title shot or been a single title holder within the main roster, shouldn't be counted... #ocd
NXT 2.0 more like NXT Porn.0 definitely liked NXT as a developmental show it was even that terrible as a reality TV show but NXT 2.0 is to sexualized in my opinion. Seems like every week more and more people are kissing each other. I was almost expecting NXT Stand & Delivery to be one bit giant orgy amoung the entire roster!
