Monken need to use quick short passes to get the ball out of LAMAR’s hand quickly when the O-LINE is NOT holding up instead of focusing on many deep route plays AND include HENRY in the passing game
The knock on Henry was always "he's not a good pass catcher out of the backfield." I don't know where that came from. Every time I've seen him targeted, he catches it. And if he catches it with some open field ahead of him, God be with whoever has to tackle him.
I been preaching Jones at LG and Ben at RG is the answer. Ben is the only strong o lineman that we have that can actually move people off the line of scrimmage.
Yup, this season's on EDC for the way this offseason and then the draft played out. I get that trades take 2 parties, but in a historic OL draft, package some picks and take the trade loss to go get the guys that you need. Especially after you go into the draft with huge holes.
Man I fuck with everything said in this video. All the same stuff I've been feeling and thinking. But look at the end of the day we lost to a top 2ish team in the NFL by less than 7 points. We're not done yet. Just gotta get right for the post season.
The Ravens need to shore up this O line and kicker situation immediately and Lamar should be leading the charge to do so. But I just realized that Lamar is overly concerned about what people think AND he won't challenge coaches and management when necessary. Lamar is my QB, BUT he needs to grow up some more and get a thicker skin in certain ways. You can't succeed always focusing on being liked. Because progress sometimes requires ruffling feathers and moving people out of your way when they're an obstacle. Also doing what you believe is right when others don't agree and hate. Lamar has to grow up and start thinking for himself, so much of athletic success is due to one's mental and emotional mastery.
It’s weird but it feels like this loss is one that we needed to have. Hopefully we’ll go away more determined to fix what we need to, and come back firing.
Why is there no pointing at the manager problem? Can’t blame John without bringing in edc? He is always referred to as a roster/cap wizard but it’s clear as day we have been degrading more and more since Ozzie’s direct control left the equation. The justin issue is trickle down from edc/john not having another option on hand or at least in mind. I mean imagine it wasn’t him playing bad but rather Tucker had a major leg injury where he couldn’t play. We would be just as screwed. I think EDC and John should be on the chopping block. 🤷🏽♂️
Good points definitely fair to discuss EDC more he plays a key role and has made some decisions that have back fired. Marcus Williams contract, Earl Thomas contract, mid-late rd draft picks recently. No backup QB, not spending money on the o line this year. I should make a video you got me thinking 😂
@ yeah bro I love your content. You always nail the most important topics even related to Lamar down games. We just get so frustrated because harbs is the face we see every week all week with his passive cryptic outlook on major issues. Him and harbs are literally neighbors so id imagine if one goes they both will. 💪🏼 keep the solid content coming bro! 🙌🏼
On top of that he traded for a wr a month ago and he hasn’t seen any relevant playing time. There’s rumor that he’s about to be cut, complete coaching and management malpractice
While I agree we should ride or die with Tucker this season, I don't agree with you that getting a guy off the street won't be any better. There are definitely kickers out there that can hit these 45-50 yarders at a better clip than 50% (Tucker's current FG% at that range). But the rest of the season is Tucker's leash with me. I hope he redeems himself over the next 4 games just to save his legacy. Either way, this should be his last season with the team.
With all that being said your 100 percent right about the oline but He lj played mid bro , like why throw the ball deep on 3rd and short instead of just getting the 1st down , he knew Tucker has problems kicking and he takes a 15yd sack that made the kick a 53yd instead of 38yd that Tucker can hit with ease, he fumbled the ball on 3rd down right after he missed likely WIDE open , that kilt the drive he also threw the ball short at zay feet on 3rd down , he also was high throwing all game where mark had to make spec catches , those 3rd downs are the single plays that be important that you have to convert on , lamar has been missing for 3 weeks and if he don’t show back up he’s not gonna win a championship, yall blaming Tucker when we been knew he was on a decline 50plus yards for him is damn near 50/50 so get him under 45 , it’s about those important 3rd down drives that get you points and keep your defense off the field and well rested , im a Bigg lamar fan but we gotta be real man
To me the entire offense just went downhill after missing the pass to Isiah Likely. I'm not blaming Lamar for the problem and that's why I said the entire offense. The sad part is that I expected them to do exactly what they did on offense for the rest of the game. I'm not holding up much hope for anything to change just like I'm not expecting them to go very far in the playoffs. I want them to prove me wrong I keep getting the feeling like the coaching staff doesn't care because nothing changes.
Harbaugh won’t push his pride to the side and try Cleveland he’s to stubborn. Watching Falale running around making no contact on a run play while Henry gets hit at the line is a whole new level of pathetic.
Lamar had a bad game and the O line couldn’t hold up, but you know what made this even worse? The play calling on offense what’s up with these deep pass plays? O line can’t hold up long enough for the routes to develop why hasn’t Todd or John notice that? What happened to short passes to get the 1st and wear the defense down! The team is out of sync consistently and calling those types of deep pass plays only kills momentum. For one majority of the time the WR aren’t open which leads to an incomplete pass or a sack. I don’t understand why the coaching staff hasn’t made adjustments to compensate. I started watching football about three years ago because of Lamar but I see a lot of silly play calling and management of our ravens! And yes Lamar should run when the opportunity presents itself, but as a QB that’s not his job that’s why we have Hill/Henry we are accustomed to it because he does it effortlessly.

I hate the GOAT discussions because the new NFL is softer & favors offense over defense. The old NFL had real ball hawks & hitmen. QBs got pummeled and still made plays. I hate Brady, but he succeeded against Ray Lewis & Ed Reed. Is there anyone in the NFL now who is as scary to play against as Lewis & Reed were? Nope, so stop the GOAT talk.
The Baltimore Ravens have Larmar Jackson, Derrick Henry and Flowers. It's time move on with John Harbaugh and Tucker. I Love'll my Baltimore Ravens. 😢😢😢😢
Let’s not forget this old line was been trash Lamar just make them look good because of his escape ability and Derrick help them out because he in the back field as well but this Line over rated ash from PFF
Well this was better than your post game podcast. You may want to go back and see what I had to say about that. Might make ya smile. Some ribbing, not trolling. I save that for the more delusional folks. I didn't mention it there because you left so much low hangin' fruit to seize on but that game was scary for us Eggles fans. These slow starts are gonna be a problem against a team with a solid offense. And I didn't mention it but if you watched our games instead of ESPN's All Cowboys All The Time coverage you would have known what was coming. The Eagles have been more physical than any team we've played since the bye. Including the Ravens. Like I said in my previous post, you had to know we were going to run the ball to end the game and you could not stop it. By the 4th quarter our O-line is gonna manhandle your D-line. 14 run plays in a row, spin it however you like but the coaches knew this was coming, the players damn sure better of known yet the Eagles ran the last 9+ minutes of the game. It was nowhere near as close as the score might make you think. You got exposed as a one touchdown team by the Eagles defense. Sucks but that is reality, I don't count a meaningless stat TD with 3 seconds left in the game and the need for 2 scores. If you can get those poor to middling defenses you've already played in the playoffs, maybe you'll go somewhere but I wouldn't count on it. And don't blame the kicker. Here's why: add his total time on field and compare it with the rest of the team. The Ravens had ample time to do something and couldn't. And that's not Tucker's fault. I felt about David Akers the way you guys have about Justin Tucker and a game like that would be heartbreaking. It was hard for me to watch. You saw him miss 2 kicks left then try to fix that and miss wide right. I don't think that's physical, it seems mental which is fixable. Just maybe not in time. Good luck from an Eggles fan (and partial Ravens fan).

Start ben Cleveland
Monken is a dumb ass play caller , Lamar and Henry are just making him look good .
Let’s not forget this old line was been trash Lamar just make them look good because of his escape ability and Derrick help them out because he in the back field as well but this Line over rated ash from PFF
This fanbase blaming everybody but the owner steve got the money to change all this bs he don’t wanna change it cause they butt buddies🤣
Harbaugh needs to look in the mirror! Then look again. A third time might help too
Pat Mahomes wouldn't survive one season playing for the Ravens.
