- William Blinn Interview (Archive of American Television) edited down to discussion about Starsky & Hutch TV series. At about 12 minutes, Mr Blinn talks about his original plans to have Starsky cited in the Hutchinson divorce proceedings by Mrs Hutchinson for "alienation of affection" (this is pre no-fault divorce).
Recorded for the Archive of American Television, this is very "dry", so there are no whizz-bang effects and super-cuts here! Just Mr Blinn, an interviewer and a camera.
You created the best cop show on television & we still love it to this day. No one but David Soul & Paul Michael Glaser could have played Starsky & Hutch! They are awesome to this day & they keep the show alive!!!
I glad he hated the movie I never brother to watch it though I only watch the originals nothing will ever compare to David and Pual Starsky and Hutch especially in the chemistry, unmatched for sure💜thanks 4 posting
"the sons of Benny Hill' - the perfect review of that damn movie!!!!!
provencepuss what does that mean?
A green and white Camaro for Starsky and Hutch?! I am SO glad they used the Gran Torino! I just have always wished Ford had made the 1975 and 76 models with a manual option.
They would have had half the fans with the Camaro LOL
You're welcome. I think it's an interesting insight into his intentions for the characters. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Thanks Chel. MMM
I hated the movie!! I’m glad the man who created the series did too!!!
Yeah, not even CLOSE to the characters he created.
I will never watch it, because it isn't Starsky & Hutch. The chemistry between David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser, their personalities, their looks, even the sound of their voices was special to these actors ONLY, which is why their show was a major hit. Any remake of a classic TV show or movie doesn't make sense to me.
Won't watch it and never will.
hahaha 'alineation of affection'.....!
Okay... I watched it with sound off and captions on, and that was... Definitely NOT written by someone who understood a WORD of what he said.
