My mom watched every show he recorded. Mind you this was 1978 (I think). Then she stayed in Danville, IL and took lessons from him personally. Then she rented a store and opened a shop, teaching classes on how to paint. Whoever started those wine and canvas classes trumped us all 😂. Linda Bennett, my mom, participated as a vendor at good shows. Most of the time she was right across from Thomas Kincade. Thanks William (RIP), you helped my mom (RIP) have a 45 year career.
Bob had some very nice words for Bill in episode of series2 of his show. Then Bob (urged by the Kowalskis no doubt) got his own company and Bill was medely a competitor after that.

@@ez_is_bloo totally true, Bob is definitely more entertaining to watch is so relaxing just to hear him. But Bill is just a better artist, I just started watching him and is obvious how more complex and better finished most of his paints are

I remember watching Bill painting on PBS and marveled at his painting techniques. I will say that he is a bit of a talker instead of doing that while he is painting.
