I have one of these, but elected to leave the restrictor in place. Much quieter and the bike still has plenty of power and torque. Did you alter FI when you pulled out the restrictor?
I bought it without all the restrictions. I found some new hard enduro trails which I'd rather the restrictions out. Only thing I hadn't touched is the airbox, I don't think you have to alter or change anything if it's just the exhaust restriction not sure about the airbox

I only took the baffle out and drilled some holes in the airbox. It's on youtube somewhere
