    I’m a fan that has no local team and would need to travel hours to a see Miami play and would have to take a chance that they would play( superstars). Miami doesn’t have to say who is playing, you take a chance. Teams should quit jacking the prices up when they come to town. It’s their faults, not Miami’s. They are benefiting from Miami’s stars and taking advantage of their fans( home team) by making them pay more.

    Inter has no obligation. Messi and Suarez also have no obligation to play every single match. they need to rest and rotate with other players like any other players around the world. they're not robots.
    there is no controversy or anything to discuss except for clubs over charging tickets.

    Anyone with half a brain could have predicted Messi and Suarez would need a rest and that this game was the most likely one to be the one they skipped. This story is so boring. These are professional athletes, not circus performers. Why are we acting like this is a new concept?

    1. MLS's main problem is increasing ticket prices when facing Inter Miami.
    2. MLS failed to prepare a good schedule taking into consideration flight distances and the distance of the next match.
    3. MLS uses an unusual system to determine the MLS champion. So the club only targets a minimum of 7-8th position, the important thing is to pass the next round to become champions. This makes MLS matches uninteresting.
    4. The MLS champion should only be determined between the Timus region champion vs. the West region champion. This will make the matches in each region interesting because you have to win the region to have a chance to win MLS.

    • @WookieG
      @WookieG 4 месяца назад +3

      Totally agree. The fact so many teams make the playoffs is alone ridiculous. The actual season games need to mean more. Like u said, the MLS Cup match should be between the winner of East vs West. No serious soccer league has this silly playoff system that negates the importance of the very long season.

    • @LIONELMESSI_G.O.A.T_LM10
      @LIONELMESSI_G.O.A.T_LM10 4 месяца назад +1

      @@WookieG European clubs only need 38 matches in one season to determine the league champion.
      MLS in a season of 37 matches but it is not certain that the club with the highest points will become MLS champion.
      maybe 7th - 8th place is the MLS champion.

      I'm not totally agree with you...if i could :D
      1) you are a bit right
      2) it depends on the draw, you can't do this previously (it's quite wrong)
      3) if you take the 8th place, you'll have all the games away..that is not the same as to play at home! The winner of Supporter shield have a slot in CCC
      4) It could be a solution, i agree much more than point 1
      Just for sharing different opinion... 😉

    • @stevenygabbyperez695
      @stevenygabbyperez695 4 месяца назад +1

      1. You don't understand how the marketplace works. MLS can't control how much people will pay for tickets. That pirce is determined by demand on the secondary market.
      2. This is the only good point you made. They shouldn't have a cross-country flight like this in a week with 3 games in it.
      3. MLS uses the American system. This system is designed to make the league more fun. It is the same system we use in NBA and NFL. It is proven, and it works. Yes, it's different but it's how we do sports in this country.
      4. See point number three. If you can't accept our system, then don't watch this league, but it isn't going to change. MLS is a smashing success using this system, and the league grows every year. 30 teams with average valuations higher than many top flight teams in Europe even though our league is still developing and is only the fifth most popular league in the US.

    First of all, all this controversy has only one guilty party, THE MLS, the whole football (soccer) all leagues around the world stop during FIFA dates, stop during copa america and stop during the EU Championship. And the reason is simple, clubs will miss their best players so, there are no leagues games. The MLS needs to learn that you can't go against what is normal for the football world if, in the end, you want to prevail and to have your league up there with the best.
    Now, I am answering your first question. Of course not, you don't ever let the other teams which players are going to be in the field. It's simple you can give the opposition coach a longer time to plan the tactical game. Just remember the last game of the 2022 world cup, De Maria was a player that everyone was thinking he was injured, Di maria not only started the game but he started on the left side of the field instead of the right side, his normal place to play, and that was what kill France on the first 63 minutes of the game. I can give a thousand more reasons but èverybody knows them. You provide the list of players on the last minute your required never before, which happens the same in any other team sport. There is never a warantee when you buy your ticket that you are going to see any particular player, you are warranty to see a game between 2 teams each team have 23 or 26 players depending the competition.
    And for the Saturday game before copa america training, will be a good idea if Messi dress and seat for the game but be available only if needed. Just to be there, anyway the game is in Florida, Messi even when he was injured, he never missed a game on Chasr Stadion or the former one. I think that is the professional thing to do.

Buyer beware and shame on the clubs for jacking the prices up. We travelled to Ft. Inter Miami and Messi are competing to qualify for the playoffs and win MLS. They aren't the Globetrotters. Would it be nice if we knew before we bought tickets if they were going to be there sure because everybody else is jacking up the price on those tickets but that’s not Miami’s fault that’s not messy‘s fault and people need to stop blaming them, everyone could see on Wednesday that his knee was a little bit bothering him. He’s also never hidden the fact that country games are top on the list so I don’t know why it surprises anybody that they weren’t there.
