I’m a fan that has no local team and would need to travel hours to a see Miami play and would have to take a chance that they would play( superstars). Miami doesn’t have to say who is playing, you take a chance. Teams should quit jacking the prices up when they come to town. It’s their faults, not Miami’s. They are benefiting from Miami’s stars and taking advantage of their fans( home team) by making them pay more.
Inter has no obligation. Plus I don't think Messi should be playing on artificial turf.
Thanks for your vote.
Inter has no obligation. Messi and Suarez also have no obligation to play every single match. they need to rest and rotate with other players like any other players around the world. they're not robots.
there is no controversy or anything to discuss except for clubs over charging tickets.
Excellent coment I totally agree with you .
Anyone with half a brain could have predicted Messi and Suarez would need a rest and that this game was the most likely one to be the one they skipped. This story is so boring. These are professional athletes, not circus performers. Why are we acting like this is a new concept?
exactly
@@annaguevarra5612 Thanks for tuning in.
These MLS teams want to treat INTER MIAMI players like circus animals. I've NEVER seen anything like this.
It’s crazy .. Hollywood has gone into their heads.
they are fool....Mahomes in Kansas City doesn't do the same? why Messi have to do in a different way?
@@Allsports48 Thanks for your thoughts.
@@alessiofavilli1998 Thanks for tuning in and sharing your comments.
1. MLS's main problem is increasing ticket prices when facing Inter Miami.
2. MLS failed to prepare a good schedule taking into consideration flight distances and the distance of the next match.
3. MLS uses an unusual system to determine the MLS champion. So the club only targets a minimum of 7-8th position, the important thing is to pass the next round to become champions. This makes MLS matches uninteresting.
4. The MLS champion should only be determined between the Timus region champion vs. the West region champion. This will make the matches in each region interesting because you have to win the region to have a chance to win MLS.
Totally agree. The fact so many teams make the playoffs is alone ridiculous. The actual season games need to mean more. Like u said, the MLS Cup match should be between the winner of East vs West. No serious soccer league has this silly playoff system that negates the importance of the very long season.
@@WookieG European clubs only need 38 matches in one season to determine the league champion.
MLS in a season of 37 matches but it is not certain that the club with the highest points will become MLS champion.
maybe 7th - 8th place is the MLS champion.
I'm not totally agree with you...if i could :D
1) you are a bit right
2) it depends on the draw, you can't do this previously (it's quite wrong)
3) if you take the 8th place, you'll have all the games away..that is not the same as to play at home! The winner of Supporter shield have a slot in CCC
4) It could be a solution, i agree much more than point 1
Just for sharing different opinion... 😉
1. You don't understand how the marketplace works. MLS can't control how much people will pay for tickets. That pirce is determined by demand on the secondary market.
2. This is the only good point you made. They shouldn't have a cross-country flight like this in a week with 3 games in it.
3. MLS uses the American system. This system is designed to make the league more fun. It is the same system we use in NBA and NFL. It is proven, and it works. Yes, it's different but it's how we do sports in this country.
4. See point number three. If you can't accept our system, then don't watch this league, but it isn't going to change. MLS is a smashing success using this system, and the league grows every year. 30 teams with average valuations higher than many top flight teams in Europe even though our league is still developing and is only the fifth most popular league in the US.
@@LIONELMESSI_G.O.A.T_LM10 Maybe not, always on the road, you don't go so far...you will be out soon in the playoffs, it happens every year
INTER HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY TO GIVE THEIR LINEUP! NO OTHER TEAM IN THE WORLD DOES😊
Thanks for your reply.
No team tells their lineup further in advance 😊

@@michellekaufman3294is this sarcasm...u s u c k
@@hernankot Sarcasm? Where is the sarcasm? I had asked viewers/listeners to vote on whether Inter Miami has an obligation to reveal Messi's plans or not and people are voting in the comment section here. Not sure what sarcasm you are talking about.
Inter does not have a responsibility to let the other team know who is coming. No 20 hours should be enough!
Thanks for your comments.
Messi can't win because everyone wants him to play in their city.... all the fans will forever moan if he doesn't play in their stadium! People don't even want him to carry his daddy duties and support his son! They moan about it too😢

True that the youths get a chance to be in the presence of greatness.
It's more than accurate to take the three at home for the last game! They are not some to show...they are players, it was a wise decision to rest them!! Now we look forward..tonight 1.30 AM in ITALY...of course i'll be tuned...it's gonna be the Redondo night!! Greetings from ITALY! thanks for the show
Ciao from Miami! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Enjoy the game.

First of all, all this controversy has only one guilty party, THE MLS, the whole football (soccer) all leagues around the world stop during FIFA dates, stop during copa america and stop during the EU Championship. And the reason is simple, clubs will miss their best players so, there are no leagues games. The MLS needs to learn that you can't go against what is normal for the football world if, in the end, you want to prevail and to have your league up there with the best.
Now, I am answering your first question. Of course not, you don't ever let the other teams which players are going to be in the field. It's simple you can give the opposition coach a longer time to plan the tactical game. Just remember the last game of the 2022 world cup, De Maria was a player that everyone was thinking he was injured, Di maria not only started the game but he started on the left side of the field instead of the right side, his normal place to play, and that was what kill France on the first 63 minutes of the game. I can give a thousand more reasons but èverybody knows them. You provide the list of players on the last minute your required never before, which happens the same in any other team sport. There is never a warantee when you buy your ticket that you are going to see any particular player, you are warranty to see a game between 2 teams each team have 23 or 26 players depending the competition.
And for the Saturday game before copa america training, will be a good idea if Messi dress and seat for the game but be available only if needed. Just to be there, anyway the game is in Florida, Messi even when he was injured, he never missed a game on Chasr Stadion or the former one. I think that is the professional thing to do.
While u at it get rid of the artificial turf in football stadiums
Agreed! Real grass is better for futbol players and football players.
While u at it get rid of the artificial turf in football stadiums
I really enjoyed this show you guys are awesome!
team-sports work that way, you buy a ticket to watch 2 teams but no specific players, if you go watch LA Lakers or LA Clippers its not guaranted you'll see Lebron or Davis or kawhi leonard or Paul george
Thanks for those comments. Very true about NBA load management with players.
Andre and Michelle thanks as always for your insightful look into Inter Miami. I tried the Matte that you guys talked about with an Argentinian guy from work...its really good!!
Awesome! I have yet to try mate. I think Andre and I will have to try it during Copa America!
Hello Michelle i hope you read this comment . Is a story of young boy . He spends 1 year in the hospital , he get heart ♥ transplant . After 1 year in the hospital he returned back home , of lot people outside his home welcoming him back home . He get out of the minivan and hi was wearing Leo Messi Argentina jersey . His an American boy from Northbrook Illinois . You can see the history at NBC 5 Chicago . I wish Leonel Messi know about this youg boy and do something for him . Thanks for read the comment .
I read your comment. Very touching. I will pass it along to the media relations staff at Inter Miami and see if they can track him down and maybe do something.
Remember the victory parade in Buenos Aires after Argentina wins the Cup. So Messi is going to take a few days longer to come back (and maybe take a few days of rest also).
Excellent points. He probably won't come back until late-July, for the Leagues Cup.
Wild especulation.... the tournament is in the us.. messi lives in the us... most argentinian players love in Europe...they are not going back if they win. Copa america is not the world cup..please if you are american. Stfu
MLS is who is to blame for the whole circus around Messi. Not Inter Miami.
Thanks for your comments. And for tuning in to the show.
@@michellekaufman3294 Michelle thank you for asking the tough questions and continuing to pursue answers when they do the things they do.
No obligation whatsoever
Short and to the point!! Thanks for sharing.
I think the problem is that the other clubs are advertising the games as ? vs Messi when they are actually buying tickets for Inter Miami. Buyer beware and shame on the clubs for jacking the prices up. We travelled to Ft. Lauderdale from New York for a game with the understanding that there was no guarantee that we would see any specific player. Messi is the GOAT but he is here to play soccer and win games not be the circus act.
Thanks for tuning in and for your thoughtful comments. Enjoy the game tonight.

Not obligated however this should be fixed by MlS as far scheduling and prices
Thanks for your thoughts on this topic.
John Paul George and Ringo hahaha 😂 Great show as always and yeah it's a shame this traveling circus can't ever get a day off rotation wise especially on those horrible turfs, no you don't tell they weren't on trip - it's still a competition why give them the edge! Plus critical to rest before Copa America and Olympics etc - also it's regular season not a tourney - always a telanovela in our soccer down here!!! 🤷♀️ 💕🧉, Italia : )
Hahaha! Always look forward to your comments. Thanks.
Bullshit schedule mis
Comparing Taylor Swift with Messi makes no sense. And suggesting that he didn't travel to watch his son play, knowing Messi's commitment with his teams and the game itself, neither. Even more, I'm happy that Inter Miami is concerned in preserving his physical condition, rather than using him in every game posible.
Thanks for your comments. Many agree with you.
Inter Miami and Messi are competing to qualify for the playoffs and win MLS. They aren't the Globetrotters. In most other countries, attending a football match doesn't guarantee seeing the star players in the lineup. Perhaps other teams shouldn't raise ticket prices so drastically just because of Messi when they can't guarantee he'll be on the pitch.
Thanks for your comments. A lot of people agree with you.
It's obvious why they didn't go they stayed at home to watch their kids play
Thanks for your views on this topic. It did look like they had fun watching their kids, not sure if it was pre-planned or not.
Inter Miami should not have to announce starting squad any sooner than the 24 hour before a game regulation.
Thanks for your input. And for tuning in.
Tata Martino rested Inter Miami's star players, yet the team still secured a win and remains at the top of the MLS standings. The rest is nonsense.
Thanks for your comments, and for tuning in to the show.
I’d ask the players how many minutes they want.
Thanks for your comments.
Play the Big 3 very limited or not at all on Saturday.

Yes play them on Saturday

I think the league is looking the other way to give IM essentially 5 DPs so I think there is some obligation. How much is the question.
Thanks for sharing your opinions and for tuning in. Enjoy the game tonight.
They only have 2 DPs: Busi and Messi. Inform yourself. Suarez and Alba are getting paid peanuts, they just joined Miami to play along Messi for fun, not to make money. They are already millionaires and are retiring soon.
Enter Miami owes nobody anything. Would it be nice if we knew before we bought tickets if they were going to be there sure because everybody else is jacking up the price on those tickets but that’s not Miami’s fault that’s not messy‘s fault and people need to stop blaming them, everyone could see on Wednesday that his knee was a little bit bothering him. He’s also never hidden the fact that country games are top on the list so I don’t know why it surprises anybody that they weren’t there. If I had tickets, would I be sad yes but we have no right to be angry and enter Miami owes nobody anything.
It's your responsibility to check the schedule and see that on the week of Vancouver they also have 2 more games at home before joining the National Team for Copa America. Add to this the travel distance and playing on turf. In February, It was 80% probability of no show for Messi and Suarez.
@@BairesCARP33 Thanks for your comments. And for tuning in.
It is not fair because they charge more than double the price because of Messi, and if he is not going to play then you shouldn't charge such high prices!! If they keep the price as previous years, then it is ok.
Supply and demand. If fans are willing to pay that much the prices will stay high. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts.
I luv michelle
Haha! Thanks for tuning in. Appreciate that.
Messi is a phenomenon that’s what I don’t think it is out of sort to tell people if he is going or not because people are going and spending so much money to see him
