I'm not even annoyed by the graphical downgrade. The whole gameplay style just looks radically different from what we originally saw.

SharkTurd11 Well for one, he doesn't know how to play the game. He didn't use any equipment besides grenades, which makes this look generic. He didn't even use cover most of the time...

There's no graphical downgrade, you all do realize how difficult and amazing it is that they've incorporated the lighting and psychics systems that they have. That's what makes it immersive, the little things like being able to see your characters footprints in the snow. I've played the game, it's very good

It's an rpg shooter, people aren't supposed to die by just a couple of shots, otherwise it would be to easy and have no difficulty at all

+Christopher Nixon This is an RPG. That shotgun was probably only Tier1 or a Common drop, or however it works.. And the Shotgun you're looking for probably won't come until later and be a Legendary drop.
Was nice to finally see GameSpot play intelligently and use cover mechanics for better combat gameplay.

the amount of bullets it takes to kill someone is ridiculous. I understand it's an RPG but I hope they put players that are equally leveled and balanced in the same areas. I don't feel like getting destroyed by a guy twenty levels above me.

looks good, the player in this deff plays a lot of cod. running around shooting and not using cover at all. not that cod players are bad. just the play style for this game to be effective is different.

Too much HUD on the screen in this game. It's killing the feeling of realism. I hope there is an option to turn some of it off.
Starting to suspect Ubisoft has a contract to never release a demo without downgrading the product later. And this after the devs LITERALLY said the game would not be downgraded, holy shit the dishonesty is staggering...

To anyone complaining about the downgrade, there maybe is a reason for the downgrade and the best way to know is if any devs would explain why they downgraded or another game dev would explain the reasoning behind downgrading.
This is for watch dogs : it seems that the team mis-estimated what the hardware would be capable of, and they had to walk back the effects and population density in the face of real-world limitations.
Are the people in the comments too stupid to know this is a RPG, not a straight up shooter?
I can't speak for anyone else but this feels like I've finally got what I wanted - Syphon Filter for PS4. Albeit with RPG elements thrown in but this is close to it.

I remember the accent on how car glass and car itself brokes under fire in early videos. Now even rocket launcher can't damage a car. That was expected but still I'm dissapointed.
You guys will just have to learn that showing *bad* gameplay isn't going to sell the game for me, hire some better players next time.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I'm going to wait for a review from reviewers that I trust. Not like IGN or GameSpot and I'm going to wait for the price to drop. Knowing Ubisoft's record with Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, and Rainbow 6 Siege being sub-par and average games this would be the wisest decision.
Wow I thought it was going to be more like Day- z except without zombies of course and you will be able to fight other online player but it's still free roaming and also build a base and craft. Also exploring abandon subways and building looking for new supplies and finding survivors that can help you in your base, needing to drink eat and sleep also the ability to sneak into other players bases and make it your own would be awesome! Like a gang war of some sort and other players being able to join your group and together taking over the city idk maybe it's not suppose to be that kinda game and I just interpreted it wrong but it would be better than some generic 3rd person survival in my opinion .
don't know why the Player can't use a sidearm (only 1 clip with no reload) when downed, huge reason why I won't buy it, hoped they'd changed it when everyone who demoed it complained about it, but I guess not, they rather give you an option to give up or crawl around until you die or get revived... (Lazy)

I think they are going for a bit more realistic approach minus the billet sponges. In real life you don't run around in the open taking bullets. You take cover and go from cover to cover

I fear the dark zone may become boring quite fast. Once you get top notch gear there will be no point in it really. I was kind of hoping for one or two more game modes within the DZ.

Honestly, this game doesn't look that bad, just a few minor changes like Time to Kill is insanely high, like borderlands type which doesn't fit the realistic feel to the game. Also the HUD is just too much and not immersive. Do that and you'd have a drastically better looking game. Not sure if it'll happen though...

I remember that first trailer, looking all cool. This looks bland and "meh" to the extreme... and what's with this cluster-fuck of a hud ? It's liek they're trying to cover up the actual gameplay with this stylized HUD crap.
this guy isn't getting the message of using cover, I feel like there's a lot of people in basically any shooter game that doesn't understand the importance of cover. When I play any game with guns, I seek out cover like a mothertrucker, if I wanna get from point A to point B I'll take the route with the most cover every single time. You wouldn't wanna get shot in real life, why would you wanna get shot in video games? even if it takes 50 bullets to kill you, you still want to have as much health as you possibly can at any given time.
If only this game had a cover system...
