I always wanted to have these when I was a kid, but it was too expensive for me at that time, yet my dad didn't want to buy me those toys. I had a friend who had these, we played together, it was a good memory back then.
Megazord was my favorite toy as a kid. I wanted one sooooo bad, my poor mom didn't understand what the hell she was supposed to be getting and kept buying me the versions that were really small and didn't transform or come apart at all, and I thought that was as good as Megazord toys got...but then I went to day care one day and this kid had a freakin foot tall Megazord that broke down into all 5 original dinozords...my little mind was completely blown. I asked for one for Christmas and finally got the "real" one, I was indescribably happy for such a long time after that. I remember it was 40$ and I thought that might as well have been a million. I had such a good mom growing up.
You just have to appreciate the amount of engineering and toy design to get all those pieces to fit together and also be independent figures in their own right, crazy, they don't make toys like this anymore, you can't beat the click and snapping together of a good old plastic 90's toy.
I mean they still do make toys like this and with way better quality and even more intricate mechanisms involved, just that they aren't advertised as often as they were back in the day

Looking back now and reading some of the comments.... I was so lucky my parents got me these as a kid. I recon it was my favourite toy I ever owned! Its only now I realise how fortunate I was and my parents must have worked there nuts off to get me these. Seeing some of the bits in this just brought it all back. I remember first playing with it, but opening the box was a bit hazey... Does any one know if all 3 parts came in one box or separate boxes? Such a clever toy as well how it all fitted together and mixed and matched.... I dont remember breaking any bits on it as well! Thank you Mum & Dad! 33 years youve always made sure I was alright!
They are different toys , megazord , dragonzord , and titanus, each zord comes in different boxes and each are hella expensive. You're one lucky kid and your parents are the best. I only have the megazord, my friend has all 3. We used to play together after school. Aa the 90s... Good times.
Back when all Sentai needed was one primary 5 part bot, a 2nd bot for a cooler combination, & one ultra-bot for a season end finisher. Now they're just so congested

I never got the chance to own any of these toys since I was born in 1992, I was too young to own any of them. Years later I got a little taste of what it felt like with that 2010 Zord builder version of the original Megazord/Daizyujin. Then the Legacy line came out with all three, but I only got the megazord again because I heard how problematic the Dragonzord was in the combined forms. Now I almost have all three SoC versions of this set. The SoC toys are going to be the closest Im to get the feeling of owning all three of the original sets.
Lol, when I was a kid, I had the original megazord but not the dragonzord, they recently re-released them as collectors models in 2017, they have more articulation in their joints and overall look a lot better than the 1993 originals.
9/10 one of the most iconic giant robots ever. I wonder how much I would like it without nostalgia eyes. The 9 instead of ten is mainly because the combination with all 6 is just silly enough

In the old days when I watched movies, there were toy ads, I was very enchanted and very envious of the boy in the clip. In my hometown Vietnam, it was impossible to buy Bandai's products in the past, I could only buy fake goods from china ... and fake goods didn't have Titanus. Only later can I buy enough sets ^^

Bandai's products are still safe when playing. As a child, I could only buy and play poor quality fake Chinese products, which could break at any time even if you had the right operation ^^

At first i thought this was from the Soul of Chogokin line, but then realized u actually have *THE ORIGINAL* and it still looks brand new. So rare!
In order to get them in good condition, I had a hard time hunting for them
I remember my 6yo brother and 9yo me spending countless days playing with these toys... megazord was such a thrill to construct.
