Its like a bar bet just on larger scale. Everyone wants to do it the obvious way (big truck and tires) but there is a simple yet non-obvious solution. Get a truck, nothing fancy, and make it light and amphibious. Technically, they did say any "truck" that crosses.

He already KNOWS no one is making it across...not through the mud, anyway. lol Plus, I would think you would need to line the hole with something to keep the water from just soaking into the ground. A simple, thin sheet of stainless, stamped out to line the holes perfectly. It would be like driving on ice under all that mud. Good scam..funny to watch so many retards tear their shit up to attempt the impossible. It was so funny to watch those big monster trucks get stuck, and then some guy in a little f150 or something with tiny tires by comparison, think they have a chance at all. If they see trucks built specially for shit like this fail, why do they think their daily driver, built for comfort and highways, with off-road tires will stand any chance at all? Why even fuck it up by driving it into that shit? I bet all those drivers would fail sobriety checks..lol

They've got tires as big as their engines, that probably weigh close to the weight of their engine. They should have dropped it a few feet back towards the ground, flex sealed the dog shit out of everything under the hood, and put smaller mud tires on. I'd throw some chains on as well, no one said anything about using chains. Then again, this looks just for fun.

It's called portal axles and they are out there just very very expensive and not currently strong enough to handle those massive tires however another option is to use the frame and axles from a crop spraying tractor.

There's perhaps one way this can be done. First mount those tires onto trailer axles. Then you build a platform on the axles to where you can mount a very light car like a Carolla. Then you run a belt around the tires of the car and trailer axles. It'll float across the mud.
