It only occurred to me last “new year” that it never feels like a new year until spring. Everyone thinks the 1st of January will be the new them, but you’re so right, we’re right in the thick of the rest season at that point. For the first time I wasn’t flooded with guilt during January and February- I just took it slow.
When I think about the way nature operates, it's easy to see that winter - darkness is the stage in which new life is actually, growing and not in the spring. The spring is the bursting forth of that which was developing in the darkness. Hence, the new year, as with a new moon, as with pregnancy, as with a pre-sapling, starts in the darkness of winter. In the darkness of winter, we are in hibernation, gathering strength until we burst forth in March.
So happy for your new video and new launch! I’ll make sure to get your guide as soon as it is possible for me, bur for now I’m super excited to use my summer (I’m from the southern hemisphere :) to plan and begin to make my plans for my work come true, in an attuned, slow and cozy way...
