Most of the lower willamette holds sturgeon, if you have navionics, you can look for the deep holes throughout the river, this time of year they will be anywhere from shallower areas to deep pools. OC is always reliable as far as a good place to C&R but there are places from the falls to the mouth that will hold pockets.
Can’t wait to see it!
It was a lot of fun to put this one together! I hope you enjoy it when it premieres.
It was such an incredible experience! Thank you!!
It was a fantastic day for fishing despite the weather, so happy that you enjoyed the trip!
Nothing better than a nice rainy day on the river crankin’ in big dinosaurs!!
The rain really started the day off the right way, that low pressure system flipped the feed switch on for the Sturgeon.
Thanks for sharing. I have been thinking about getting out there and trying that. Let me know if you need an extra hand. Looks like a blast!!
When the river comes down and the barometer stays low, they will be on the feed again.
@pnwvintageoutdoors ok. Just anywhere around oregon city I'll find them?
