If you come around to playing some Mono White again, I found Orcish Bowmasters to be a really good Splash. 2 Swamps over 2 Plains and Citadels instead of Blast Zones (those to the Side). The Rest is Restoration, Thraben, Soli, Path, Winds, March, Get Lost, Mazemind. Also gives you Despark as an upgrade to Vanish into Eternity.
I've been jamming 8-field cleansing wildfire in pioneer, and your thoughts on Nahiri's Warcrafting are spot on. It has been a life-saver against Sheoldreds and Teferi, HoD. I haven't tried Obosh in pioneer for several sets and seeing how much of an impact it had on your games makes me want to go back and try it out again. One thought for the 3-drop slot that has been rattling around in my brain is Boros Reckoner. I played Skred way back when twin was still legal in modern, and seeing your setup here made me realize you have a "combo kill" with Obosh and Lightning axe. Target the Reckoner with Lightning Axe while Obosh is on field. Axe deals 10 to the Reckoner, Reckoner deals 20 to the opponent. The mana is rough, though. I'll give it a spin at my FNM. The other notes I have as a pioneer player is that there aren't many problem artifacts in the format. Copter, Esika's Chariot, and Witch's Oven are the main offenders, so I don't know if the Vandalblasts are needed in the board, as your burn and blast zones handle them just fine. You figured out in your match with Mono Green that exiling the Troll is super important because it keeps their devotion and ramp down. You seem to be have been persuaded over to the artifact sacrificing burn spells, and I'm on board with that. Hitting for 3 damage at instant speed is super important for Greasefang, Ledger Shredder, and Amalia Combo pieces. Thanks for trying out the format! I get the feeling that the combo will rarely ever come up, but that said Reckner itself could be an overlooked card even without the combo. I'm starting to move back to playing 8-fields though since I've noticed there's lots of man lands that get played in Pioneer though, and 2 red alone can be rough sometimes let alone 3, but that combo kill sounds so sweet lol
Remember months back when you tried Ox of Agonas in the Modern shell? Im in match three of this vid and i kinda wonder if thats an idea once you add the Fables. Would also give the Lightning Axe extra fodder.
I tried Ox a bit in Pioneer too, but I always feel that more than 4 draw 3 effects aren't necessary, and Dragon Engine has consistently been more impressive than Ox ever since it was printed. I miss Ox though so I appreciate that you haven't forgotten it

I have a Citadel Mono Red video, it's the one with the Odyssey Firebolt Art that also includes my thoughts on the Fury banning! As for the Living End matchup, I hate to say it, but that's probably become utterly unwinnable and even worse than Rhinos now thanks to Fury's ban. Fury was a big, and I mean HUGE reason we'd often win against them thanks to careful proactive evoking to make their living ends less impactful. If you wanna go for more Aggro Versions of Obosh Red then, Monstrous Rage is a Card that does not look like much but is absolutely amazing. Especially since it also Forces a Draw vs Amalia Combo (you skip the 20 Power Trigger from Amalia).
Wouldn't it be cool to try the 8-field mono red formula with a backup combo finisher like All will be one? (If you already did it i apologise for the question)

Frost Bite is a really cool removal spell in the format, but I'm not sure how well this list can reliability have 3 Snow Mountains in play. Maybe in a deck with 8 fields instead? Also maybe Torch the Tower over Shivan Fire? Can sacc treasure tokens after adding fable, sacc synthesizer too. Exiles Arclight Phoenix
Yes after running into phoenix some more, and after a bit more testing after this league, I've come to the conclusion that Torch the Tower and Voltage Surge are better than Shivan Fire. Also as you said we play so many artifacts that often the option to sac something is very live, and while not always free per se, is sometimes necessary and always a nice option to have! Also yea Frost Bite was something I saw but also had doubts about having enough snow permanents. My instinct is that it probably is better than Shivan Fire but probably not as good as Torch or Surge.

I haven't been on mtgo for about 3 weeks unfortunately, but last time I played something similar to my latest modern video's deck felt good, but Cleansing Wildfire might be better than Obosh
Yes not this time but you can bet Fable is making it in the list next time! This time I was trying to make Lightning Axe good by playing lots of Graveyard Synergy creatures instead but at the end of the day Fable is obviously the best card in Pioneer for a reason and should be in the deck!
