I've had mine nearly 7 months and continue to love it! It's made me total rethink ever buying a $500+ phone again. I bought it after my expensive Nexus 6P went to bootloop hell, and except for the fine detail of the Nexus 6P camera, I haven't missed it the 6P at all. Oodles of camera options like bokeh. KILLER battery that has never gone to zero. I'm no gamer, so I can't comment on that. But for me it runs smoothly. When using headphones, love the Dolby audio. External audio is fine for spoken word, like watching a RUclips video.

I've owned the flagship phones, but ZTE has really impressed me with how much they give for such a low price. I got a ZTE Max ultra. It's been great. I love the 6 inch screen. I've never had process problem. The best battery I've ever had on a phone. If they make a phone with 3gb of ram and a slightly nicer resolution display.... Bam, done with the expensive flagships
Still have mine for 10 months and still feels like new and battery life is awesome especially when shooting photos all day
Just got mines today. I'm really digging it. I'm coming from a galaxy s6 so yeah lol. If I'm saying I like this phone after coming from a s6 then it's definitely a go but with that said it might not be a go for the next person. Everyone uses there phones differently but all in all its a great phone and I don't regret buying it at all

This phone is amazing at the price ,got mine unlocked works well no problem. Coming. From a family who's the newest phone's like the iPhones 7+,8and 10
I say at $150unlocked this changes with those $1,000 phone's but %90 cheaper and no prob with ram or running or freezing .

Bro I got it on ebay unlocked,took it to TMobile they put my sim card and transfer all my stuff to my new phone and all is good ,
I love this Blade Z Max. Switched to Metro and got TWO free. I use mine for media a lot too. Great review btw.

Wheres the forgotten Blade, the v8 Pro.. Still a great phone with all the goodies, sd625, NFC, 3gb ram, dual SIM/microSD, unlocked, and a good DAC. $139 or less on sale this season. Love it. ZTE is making some great budget phones !

It hasn't been updated to 7.0 that's why we forgot about it.
Thewoodenbrick always wondered why they didn't give it 7.0. It was thier next step down from the Axon 7. It's a fair amount better then all the SD4** series phones they are putting out with 7.0. At least 6.0 is still solid and it has a recent security patch. Not missing much without 7.0.
BilderB ZTE really is a great phone company but there are some problem with some of there phone but it's not as bad as the note 7 XD

Very solid phones from ZTE I believe. Very few companies make big phones at such more affordable prices.
Still rockin' my ZMAX pro. For $100, and all the features, no other phone can touch it. I love the 6" HD display. Plus it's very durable. Activate Android developer menu and disable animations if you want it to run faster.
My zte zmax pro was getting about 200 mg of memory daily using it then I installed greenify and used the dozed mode and now I get 500 mg of memory and it runs pretty smooth even with a live wallpaper with no battery drain
How well does the camera perform during night time events such as concerts? Is the video sound playback distorted or clear sounding? Im thinking of purchasing but do go to concerts often so a good camera is an essential feature for me

I had my phone for about 2 mouth and it seem like it has some sort of heating problem. I could use the phone for any app like RUclips and by the end of the video like yours my phone is getting very hot and it's weird Bec I could try to use it for gaming like clash of clans and it's get very hot but I also play pixel gun and it's basically on fire and on my ZTE ZMAX PRO the phone just fine with these app chilling and not over heating
The Blade ZMAX is an amazing device for such a low price! Mine has held up well.

I appreciate when you did the intro to this phone I believe I went and got it two months afterwards and I love it so far definitely for me only because I run multiple APK's which is one reason I not going back to iPhone

Williams I have a question for you, I currently use the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime with Metro PCS for over a year now and I have zero issues with the phone but I want to upgrade to a bigger phone and bigger battery with Metro PCS, If I get the ZTE Blade ZMAX, will I have zero issues with this phone as well just like my current phone right now the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime? Why not, the Grand Prime battery life is not GREAT plus I always wanted to get a ZTE phone and I believe ZTE BLADE ZMAX is a GREAT choice.
Hey j wills my wife has a blade zmax and has enjoyed it for months but it's now beginning to malfunction and glitch, she works really hard and wants a s9 (the purple one of course) but we can't really afford it any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Btw amazing video as always brother.
Buy the S7 there is no other purpose for someone to buy a gaming phone if they're not actually gaming.
I'm only 3 or so months in, and I'm starting to hate it. I don't know what the problem is, but it's crashing daily. It'll stop in the middle of me doing things. Just stops responding, stops recognising my fingerprint, forcing me to restart it to get into it. When I can use it, it's great. When I can't (which is often) it's obviously not.

I cried when my first blade got lost thankful it was a good Samaritan sent it to me camera lenses broke charging port acting up finally found it I'm happy happy happy now I LOVE THIS PHONE plus didn't pay what I pay first time got upgraded cheaper price taken off market now I've got 2 I active one Simi broken they're not selling this much more
Tried a blade zmax and it froze too much , the mp3 paused the music for no reason .
Does the Camera heat up the phone while using it?

I really like this phone. It does get a little glitchy sometimes. The messaging is real jacked up don't know what's wrong with it but it looks like my texts are layered. I have had 2 of these phones. The screen is EXTREMELY fragile will crack shatter easily.
Metro is asking me to sign up for a plan for 3 months 50$ a month to have this phone any advise?

They pulled that mess with me too. But afterwards I called customer service, they refunded the money and put me on the $30 plan.

I wish zte removes the touch buttons and move forward and start experimenting with aspect ratios and a better camera idk imo
For some reason it can easily get muffled while recording which makes no sense since before this there was the zte zmax pro & it didn't muffle nearly as easily.. also idk how good the camera is. I just got it upgraded but I wonder if I should try changing it to something better?

The FM radio don't work
For you it doesn't, so try a reset. It works fine though for most..
For the FM radio to work, you have to use headphones. The headphones act like an antenna for the FM radio.
Notification issues at times
My zmax have been freezing..and I can't take a call when I'm on a call..but I understand it's only a 💯 bucks so I expect that no suprises..I do ok..good video..j..
I just bought this phone and the ram mangement is terrible can't handle even 2 apps in the background for a minute but beside that this phone is smooth and the 6 inch display is nice very bright and corler full
