You know when I get wine that's not what I like, I usually mix it with mostly ginger ale or make a Sangria mixing lots of fruit and juices to sweeten it.
Next time you’re in Aldi check their wine out. They have good wine & good prices. Also Stella Rosa has the best red wine ( my opinion )

When there's a wine that's dry or u don't like it.. don't dump it!!! Add coke or sprite and make it a wine spritzer!! It becomes sweet and fizzy!!!😊

You want Merlot that is usually a sweet red wine. I like a dry white wine because I love to pair it with a extra sharp white cheedar cheese and sesame seed cracker.
Try the wine with cheese to see if you still don't like it.
You should taste different merlot from different winery's to find your favorite. I wish I could remember the one a friend gave me. It was so sweet I thought I would go in to a diabetic coma from one sip. That sounds like what you would love.
Sangria time, wine spritzers! Also cooking with wine-stews, roasts. Might try sparkling wines or dessert wines?

I needed this laugh, it reminds me of doing coffee tastings when I worked for Starbucks. You may need to try Rose', or Blush wines or even pink moscato.

yes, cherry can be tart and bitter and can dominate the flavor plus the baking spices are cinnamon, nutmeg, clove would not be sweet... you may need juicy sweet fruits like strawberry, plum, grape...

Fun video! It’s the tannins in the wine that make it dry and bitter. You need to try wines with less tannins. You’d probably love port wines! 😁👍🍷
You might try a Moscato as it's a sweet white. If you like Zinfandel, you're right on the money for one of the sweetest reds.
