      What most don't understand is that in this century Armageddon will take place (sooner than later), for in this century the 6000 years of HUMAN history will come to an end and the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth will commence.
      It is foretold in the Bible. You just need eyes to see.
      You should look at *1 Thessalonians 5: 3* and compare this with *article 1* of the *UN charter* and *article 1 of NATO. "Peace and Security".*
      --
      *1 Thessalonians 5: 3*
      3 For when they shall say: *"Peace and Security";* destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
      --
      *Article 1 United Nations*
      “The Purposes of the United Nations are:
      1. To maintain international *peace and security,* and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and international law, adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;
      --
      *Article 1 NATO*
      Article 1
      The Parties undertake, as set forth in the Charter of the United Nations, to settle any international dispute in which they may be involved by peaceful means in such a manner that international *peace and security* and justice are not endangered, and to refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force in any manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations.

      "technological edge"
      USA actually has never had anywhere close to the tech edge that it claims. And sometimes, not at all.
      There was a Nato report done after getting their hands on real Soviet equipment during the German reunification, the single most common comparison made was "equal or better than Nato equivalent in every way except ergonomics".
      And that's back in the day when EVERYONE KNEW how totally superior Nato tech was supposed to be against the primitive but huge Soviet hordes.
      One of the results of that report was the very hasty development of the -9X model of the Sidewinder, because the previous model was embarassingly inferior to the Soviet equivalent.
      Less hasty and desperate, the further development of the AMRAAM was likewise made a priority for similar reasons.
      And we've seen a lot of old Soviet tech from the 70s and 80s do better in Ukraine than newer Nato tech.

It's horrifying, the way he describes it, how American administrations after 1991 enthusiastically pursued a policy of global hegemony. Blind to peaceful ways of resolving problems, as they arose. The Ukraine crisis is an obvious and crystal clear example. The total subservience of Germany to the American agenda even Sachs was unable to explain.

      More research on Taiwanese politics is required. However the jist of it is that provoking Chinese action will likely turn the supporters of 1 of 2 opposition parties to the side of the current incumbent party, and by enacting martial law there won't be a need to hold elections, thus keeping the incumbent party and its president in power.

    • @CycOp
      @CycOp 26 дней назад +13

      You may see in the new recently about fighting (yet another one) in Taiwan’s congress. The new congress majority wants to introduce a law that will make it illegal for the president, or members of cabinet to ignore calls to appear in congress. The newly elected president Lai set a record for being absent from the city council when he was a mayor. President’s party DPP have supporters to stage sit-in outside the congress in support of the president, which is not gathering much steam. However, one area of grave concern is that under DPP support, Taiwan has dramatically lowered the “Pass” threshold for referendums to just 25%, and no doubt Taiwan’s independence supporters will try this (once US thinks it’s “ready” for a showdown with China). But no doubt setting threshold this low to pass a controversial law will only cause more chaos and unrest in Taiwan, which already is very polarized politically (maybe more so than in the US).

    Ukraine is a huge failure for US, no hope of defeating Russia, so now they pick on China, where their military is huge, well trained, don’t have pronouns, or poor quality military equipment. Russia has shown that they can nullify the US missiles, etc.

    I am a Taiwanese currently living in US. I can confidently say that the war drums against China certainly beating WAY LOUDER in the US (even predicting happening in two years) compares to in Taiwan and China. And I don’t see how Taiwan can declare independent by the president (which he stated in the past repeatedly as his ultimate objective, although he danced around this subject during the presidential election) when he does not have the majority of the votes (he won 40.05% of the votes) and lost the control of the congress. Perhaps you all aware of fighting in Taiwan’s congress just recently. This was because the congress majority wants to introduce legislation that will make it illegal for the president to bypass or ignore the congressional inquiries. The newly elected president Lai set the record for not set foot in the city council to report when he was a mayor. No doubt if president Lai can bypass the congress he will try to declare Taiwan’s independence when US asked. This however will set off a political crisis with large demonstrations or riots.

People outside rarely understand what is going on.I know because in my 20s I worked in a foreign office and cabinet office for a few years (later went into a completely different profession). 5:38 I think you have to consider what really is at stake here. Is it concern for Taiwanese Democratic Rights? The answer is that is seems extremely improbable that a contry which has zero interest in any rights at all for Palestinians, would have any real interest in rights for any other country. Therefore, I conclude that the REAL interest is in degrading China so that it does not compete with the USA for the position of World Hegemon. This means that there is no need for a real causus belli. The US wants a war and will try to get it any way it can. On the other hand, it does not want to be seen as the aggressor. Nothing that the Chinese can or will say, will make the slightest difference to the USA's aim.

So until US’s production of high end semiconductor chips are ready (which is at least two years away (in the best case scenario), US is not ready for war with China (hopefully by then US will recoup much of it war stockpiles).

    If the US goes down this road they will lose big. The US is disadvantaged geographically, militarily, and in military manufacturing capacity. This is a crazy path to go down.

      We are actually pretty good geographically. I don't know of any nation that has the sea power to actually invade us. Invasion through Mexico like we are seeing now is what i'm worried about. Our military is so full of DIE that i doubt we could fight ourselves out of a wet paper bag. Also recruitment is I think at all time lows where the various armed services can't make anywhere near their quotas. As far as military production goes as long as our MIC is profit based instead of performance/production based we are screwed. Just look at Russia producing 4.5 million Artillery shells a year where as the USA can barely make 1 million shells at 3 to 4 times the cost. I love my country but God help me I hate what the government has done to it in my life time.

    Except Japan & the Philippines, the other countries in Asia won't bother with supporting Taiwan. In addition, Taiwan is an island unlike Ukraine, once surrounded there is no way to retreat. If a war between China-Taiwan starts, it ain't going to last long to satisfy the MIC. It will only create further tensions and disrupt peaceful lives of commoners.

    • @iliadiliad6028
      @iliadiliad6028 26 дней назад

      The Philippine military is extremely close to the Chinese military, they have been for decades.
      All I see is the US Military being baited to spread thin where it cannot resupply and it won't be able to return home to defend North America and stabilize it to maintain and rebuild! 👀
      All of this is intentional, it is finely tuned, it's treason and it's a giant trap.
      US soldiers wont shoot at civilians, but the new BRICs walk ins and their allies who flooded in will for a square meal a day turn a rifle against the Citizens!
      The military won't even be here in sufficient numbers to stop it anyway.
      China knows Western elites are desperate to keep power to a point they will send the military to die and take in foreign men and arm them like they did to try and keep control that way... they won't be able to stay in power anyway!

      Taiwan’s marines used to be ranked among top 5 in the world in 1950 and 1960’s and it has gone downhill ever since. The current government in power, DPP, led a demonstration about 10 years ago to abolish the “brutal” treatment of soldiers (resulting in death of a soldier when he was forced to run some laps in a very hot day). Now Taiwan’s soldiers don’t do outside workouts or exercises when the outside temperature is very high (say around 38 degrees Celsius or 100 degrees Fahrenheit). Also suicide seems to be a common occurrence in Taiwan’s military now.
