Like he said "Just start making videos". I put it off for a long time for no good reason. I didn't even know there was free software. I had to buy Adobe and learn how to use it (I like Adobe). It's not like I have a big channel but it's a lot of fun and a good hobby. I just wish I had started sooner. I'll watch your videos lol

Yeah Sonic 3 & Knuckles is also my favorite Genesis game (#8 in my "Top-10 Games of All-Time" too). Shining in the Darkness is one of my faves too. In my head-canon, Land Stalker takes place in the Shining universe. The story of yours that stuck with me the most was trading in Super Mario World (my #1), Final Fantasy II (my #5), and A Link to the Past (my #7) to get a crap game...that one made me go "ouch!"
    P.S. I got a 3DO (FZ-1) and I love it.

Haha yeah I just couldn't get into the 3DO. I've heard that Street Fighter 2 is amazing on it, but I never did track down a copy.

I had a similar experience. One day I sold all of my SNES games towards a PS1 and in there was a CIB Mega Man X3 that I wish I still had. It was beat to hell from letting everyone borrow it but seeing how much it goes for now and the fact that it was mine that my Mom bought for me, I really wish I still had it. I enjoyed the PS1 but I regretted selling my SNES games. So much so that I discovered an emulator called ZSNES. That of course led me down the rabbit hole of emulation which eventually started my journey collecting retro games.

Let me tell you a similar tale. When I was between like 10-13 years old, during the PS1 N64 era, my Mom handed me a SEALED copy of Super Mario Bros 3 that she had found in her closet that was originally gonna be a Xmas or birthday present but she forgot it was there. Stupid kid me who already owned that game, traded it in at EB........for a $1.

Hey, you pronounced my last name correctly! Most people pronounce it Wiseman or Weisman.
Great Q&A! The show and tell story was pretty funny! Also, I'm not going to ask or presume to know what your beliefs are, but I still have to say that, as a Christian, it made me very happy to hear you say you'd most like to have dinner with Christ! I sure know I'm looking forward to having dinner with Jesus one day!
Thanks for the game room tour as well! That was a real treat! And for the compliment! I'm glad I'm able to give you a good chuckle from time to time!
The Shining just might be my number 1 in terms of horror movies, and Stanley Kubrick is definitely one of my favorite directors. Speaking of horror movies, did you ever get a chance to watch Brian DePalma's Sisters? If so, how'd you like it?
Also, I remember you said you like The Innocents. In that case, I think you might like The Uninvited (the 1944 film by Lewis Allen).
Some other great horror/suspense films that fly under the radar a bit which I recommend are Suspiria (the original by Dario Argento), The Tenant by Roman Polanski, and Wait Until Dark by Terence Young. Check those out if you haven't yet! And feel free to suggest some to me! I'm always open to recommendations!

I really appreciated that you asked all those questions! Yeah I'm a Christian and have been for about five years now. Before, I was an athiest (ugh, I know), but I'm very strong in the faith now despite all the mocking and scoffing that athiests tends to dish out. I have not seen Sister yet, but I have seen (and own a copy of) Uninvited. Yeah that's a great film too. I've seen Suspira but I'll have to check out those other films you mentioned. Thanks for all your support!

@@RonManGaming That's awesome, brother! Very happy for you! As for me, I grew up in a Christian household but then in senior year of high school I changed my beliefs to agnostic. That lasted from 2004 up until 2014 at which point I returned to the faith, praise God!
Did you say you're from Canada? I can't remember. (Edit: You are in Canada! That's what I thought!) Anyway, I'm in the states myself, but I'm a subscriber to a Canadian guy's RUclips ministry, and I was blessed to be given a role in his channel. He started his channel in 2020 and does a variety of content including Bible studies, prayer nights, skits, and music, but what I do is I rewrite secular songs (mostly classic rock) with Christian lyrics and then he performs them. I guess you could call me a Christian Weird Al Yankovich, haha! My lyrics can cover multiple Christian themes and topics but they primarily focus on Jesus Christ and the gospel, with the intention of leading folks to Christ and encouraging those who are already believers. I'd love to share the name of his channel and direct you to a playlist of the song rewrites we've done so far! That is, if you're interested! 🙂

I'm curious; how did you return to Christianity? What changed your mind? Yeah I'm from Canada - Niagara Region. Which channel is the one you're talking about? I'll have to check that out. I play guitar but I don't think i'm very good haha. That's awesome that you do that! Keep going!

@@RonManGaming I accepted Jesus as my Savior and got baptized when I was in elementary school. Went to church every Sunday with my family throughout most of grade school. As a teenager I thought church was boring though and I can't really say I took Christianity all that seriously. I basically went because my parents made me. Once I was old enough to have a choice, I stopped going. I was of the mindset that if there are all these other religions, who's to say which one is right, so I just considered myself agnostic and left it at that from 2004 onward. I did always lean more toward "a God" than "no God" during that time. Fastforward to 2014 and I started taking Christianity seriously. This happened for a variety of reasons. For one, after an extremely sheltered childhood and even teenage years, I decided to lead a rebellious adulthood. This took me to dark places and by 2014 I was at my lowest and looking for the light. For two, in searching for the light I was drawn back to Christianity, started reading the Bible, praying, watching Christian RUclips channels/apologetics, and also went down a rabbit hole of "truther" content as well. Through all of this research and learning, Christianity just started to make more and more sense to me. And for three, being older, more mature, and wiser from experience allowed me the understanding that I think I was lacking during my childhood and teenage church-going days. And since coming to fully believe the gospel and the Bible in 2014, I have changed and grown drastically from that time up until present day. Things are much better for me and I have a lot of peace thanks to Jesus and my relationship with Him. This is one of the ways I know Christianity is true, aside from all the evidence, history, and prophecy that points to it.
The Canadian RUclipsr's name is Aaron and his channel is called God A Minute?. Feel free to check out his channel and subscribe if you want. He also has a Discord server, link is in the description of each of his videos. And if you'd like to check out the song rewrites we've done so far, you can search for them on his channel, or you can just click on my avatar and I have a public playlist in my RUclips profile. That would probably be easier. The playlist is titled God A Minute? Song Rewrites Playlist, and it's ordered from oldest to most recent. A few of my personal favorites are the rewrites of The Weight by The Band, Daniel by Elton John, Lookin' Out My Back Door by Creedence Clearwater Revival (titled 2 2 2 Many Signs To Ignore), and the most recent one which was a rewrite of The Gambler by Kenny Rogers. There's also one entirely original song that we did, which I have under a separate playlist, titled God A Minute? Original Songs Playlist. I wrote the lyrics and Aaron composed music for it and performed it. It's called Waiting At The Station To Be Taken.
