I stumbled upon this video looking for ways to tidy up my workspace, and I'm so glad I did! The zip tie life hacks demonstrated here are so easy to follow and incredibly useful. I never realized how handy zip ties could be in everyday situations. Kudos to the creator for sharing such practical knowledge!
Question: Do you love zip ties? 1. Yes 2. No 3. I hadn't used one but yes 4. I hadn't used one but no 5. I'd rather not say. Reply your number (1-5) on this comment. Above tells you what each number means. ∆wesome Video!
It's so funny to see how you see them as lifehacks and I just see them as normal way of going about the day :D Especially the one with the pain stirrer is one I use a lot. However, I make the zip tie as long as the RADIUS of the paintcan instead of the DIAMETER. Because then your drill doesn't flipflop around and you can stir the paint with a much higher rpm.
When u lock your bag, with those zip ties, do you get the same zip ties that you have put on your bag the day before traveling, or are they the diferent ones?
Not the first Dave.......but love all of your vids. I actually have tried many of them. Keep going👍🏻 Also upload a video how you come up with all these brilliant hacks. They are all so very helpful.
if you use nail clippers to trim the end off, you don't get a sharp bit sticking out. I use cable ties on all sorts of things but scissors and side cutters leave a sharp edge I was forever cutting myself on,, but nail clippers take the end right back with no sharp bit.
Thank you for these tips. I heard about zip ties being used to disable a handgun by running the zip tie thru the barrel. I was hoping to see exactly how that is done.
About the first hack, it's good, but what about if you want or need to take a charger with you if you're going out and about? What can I do to do that if I do that first life hack?
Originally called "cable ties", so using them to keep cables together is nothing new. But, I DO like the use of smaller ties to keep them separate. Nice.
Great idea, just one problem, the wall plug should be below the depth of the render so that when the screw is inserted it doesn't blow the render (or plaster).
Use flush cut wire snips to cut your zip ties, or a razor blade to clean the tails all the way to the ratchet, so when you need to handle them later they don’t cut you.
I love how this channel hasn’t changed and the hacks are actually useful and not dumb stuff that nobody will use lol ❤️

“Pretty cool huh” says the guy who saves you’re life
That should be "your". If we were to expand what you said, it would read, "...says the guy who saves you are life". This makes no sense.
Steven Scott What makes no sense is the fact that you're wasting peoples' time in the comments instead of being at a library or private lesson. Imo

British people: it’s always a huge let down to the rest of us when you say “and there you have it” instead of “and bob’s your uncle.”

Looking at the paint stirrer, I guess you can also use a zip tie as a weed whacker.
