What's the Australian price atm for a set of injectors for a 2010 Prado KDJ155? Euro 4. Prices are through the roof in Europe. € 2.500,00 (~ 4.150 AUD) for four injectors and seats. Cheers

Have been watching the channel for a few months now as I own a d4d 09 Hilux. Bought the car as a repairable write off dirt cheap and it has been a fixer upper getting her back to proper condition. Runs really well but is approaching the 300,000km mark. Unsure if injectors has been replaced as there isn't any service history past 150km. Even so, there is no smoke of any colour through the exhaust, nor any symptoms suggesting the injectors are on their way out. Reckon its time to change them just for peace of mind or is running a simple test ok?
Just bare in mind that these two vehicles on original injectors and seats with over 300k and running well with no blow by are both swb. They've done less work moving a lighter vehicle
Hi Anthony, Just working out what I need from your videos, but listening to this one has now put a spanner in the works .... so if I need both a Injector kit and a BFE kit do I need to get 2 quotes or 1 and you will just ship the kits on different days?
M8 I swear by Fuel Doctor. Better performance more torque smoother gear changes. A noticeable difference after the first use. Think Fuel Doctor is good try SMT 2 engine additive.

I do not believe a thing about your theory about the the sealing washers. It it is the relaxation of the hold down stretch bolts under vibration and temperature due to fatigue.
Fck me was bout to pay $1250 for brand new injectors on my 150 2012 series 137km ..just shopped around n got told to flush em and keep the originals...Cheers

Mechanical injectors aren't comparable with electronic, mechanical last longer and don't normally catastrophically fail
I can send you some pictures of what happened when they do fail the piston is hanging on the wall and the valve is now in 3 bits

V.M service manual states the seating washers should be changed every 40.000 k.m. but this is very rarely done by jeep dealership's.

It’s not a theory you better start watching more videos and get yourself educated before it’s too late

Probably not as good as new, yet some do 'recon' with good results. Depending who does it i suppose.

My hilux 2.5 d4d 2013 doing 400k never changed or had any injector problem
My 2012 Hilux just clocked 400k I got it at 117k
