I love your Templars so much! Especially the yellow weapons and the clean, knightly armor which leans more towards oldschool Mk.VII.
I remember back in the day Andy did a squad of Black Templar terminators with the forge world bt shields with the old metal iron hands heads I think. Sort of had the cross across the helmet. But yeah they looked epic
That hobgrot hide makes such a locely yellow. Definitely going to use that!

I'd never heard of hobgrot yellow, it's funny how many paints gw bring out these days without even mentioning it. I really like their yellows though, coverage is way better than a lot of other brands

Could do the outermost casing of the axe near the blade as yellow so you get the red-red, blue-blue and yellow-yellow balance :D

The Eclypse Grey looks similar to one of my favorite greys: Sombre Grey from Vallejo Game Color. I would put all these desaturated purple greys in the Payne's Grey family. Very lovely and multifunctional color.
Blimey, I'd ned an electron microscope and robot arms to be able to paint lenses like that!

Ugh so hard to resist black Templars.. I’m doing black dark angels because I prefer their models and the lion etc. but it makes me think why not just do black Templars
what was the definition of army for this project? Honestly was hoping for more but glad for what's happened so far.
Was there a bit of a paint consistency issue in the beginning of the video when spraying that white? I want to know if this is intended or can the paint be thinned more

Is the graphite just a slightly lighter color, or is it reflective in the way actual graphite is?
Also hat about thinning your paints with inks to keep up the saturation while changing the consistency?
It's just a slightly lighter color, light administratum grey from citadel, it's got the same matte finish that most scale 75 paints do
Will we see a brush version of the colour scheme? Also will you be doing more astartes chapters schemes in celebration of Space Marine 2?
I just pre highlighted this one with the airbrush, which you could do with a wraith bone spray. I tried to use almost all brush on this one.
