      Yes please do more Kirkland products. How about you take a stroll in the alcohol department.
      I find the Kirkland Irish Whiskey 🥃 to be more enjoyable than the Jameson. Also the Kirkland Vodka in the tall bottle, much more economical and a friend of ours that only drinks Grey Goose, can not tell the difference. Cost is less than half also..
      Thanks for the informative videos.

    What's crazy is that most store brands are the same thing as name brands. They're packaged in the same factory and are just packaged in their containers. I've talked to the cvs gm at my store and he told me that's what cvs does on a lot of products.

    • @meganmorgan8597
      @meganmorgan8597 3 года назад +9

      Walmart too. Like acetaminophen, ibuprofen, naproxen, omeprazole, alllllll that is made by same company. Walmart will negotiate with the name brand and say buy 10 thousand lots of 100 count bottles of ibuprofen, slap their labels and lids, at a set price.

    • @jasonparker6670
      @jasonparker6670 3 года назад +8

      @@meganmorgan8597 I assume they all do it. When the cvs gm explained it to me it made total sense. They can't afford to manufacture the product and then sell it at a discount like that, and the big boys all pay manufacturers to make their products. It's all about marketing. The big boys like tide, coke, and Pepsi spend billions on advertising and the little guys don't. I'll always take the savings over the name brands. That and if you learn how to coupon you can get the name brands for almost free.

    • @Lucinda_Jackson
      @Lucinda_Jackson 3 года назад +3

      @@jasonparker6670
      I agree with some items it’s true they are exactly the same product as the big brand you know and love. Others clearly are manufactured to a different specification from the big brand and different labels and packaging are used for a variety of store or generic brands. And some things are produced by a “lesser” manufacturer (not a name brand manufacturer) and, again, labels for a variety of store and off brands are slapped on. A great example of this is soda or pop - the name brands are definitely not manufacturing for store labels!

      I prefer when Costco had them individually wrapped, they've definitely changed in the last couple of years though, I've had them separate many times and it becomes more like one ply. With the recent toilet paper scare last year we ended up buying a different brand, Charmin and I think from Costco and definitely preferred it.

    • @leahrowe847

      For paper towels I always buy Bounty bc I end up using so much less (bought on sale only). I've compared several times by buying 3 rolls & seeing how long it takes to use ea/# of jobs per roll (Bounty always last longer). For TP, I actually buy that from Costco online in a case bc it's delivered & I've only gotta think about it once a yr- LOL! It's good TP, but I'd never compare it to Charmin or high-end stuff (I personally think that's way too thick & a waste of $; plus, it's not great for the septic/environment as it takes longer to breakdown). Just my two cents... not wanting a debate.

    One point about the TP test: The Costco TP used for the comparison is septic safe. We live in a rural area, have LOTS of guests and must be concerned about a finicky septic system. The Cottonelle used in the comparison is not septic safe, and therefore can be thicker and disintegrate more slowly. Premium quality meat, eggs, dairy, fish, produce & baked goods ( 😋 ohhh, the bakery!!) Double warranty & easy returns. With the Costco card 4% back on gas plus the 2% back instore, our membership fee is more than paid for each year. YMMV, but I do think they will refund your membership cost that first year if you're not satisfied.

Obviously, you can't really do a taste test (what dog won't eat a treat given the chance even if it's a subpar treat). But the packaging of their dog biscuits RULES!! Seriously, these things are packed into the box like military grade ammunition. NO BROKEN BISCUITS!! Now, we actually deliberately break them because our dog would be HUGE if we gave him a whole one every time he wants one. But if you've got a big dog, this is a BIG deal!! And FWIW, the pupper seems to love them!!
