actually the color coded was right! jimin sang the high note ‘i’m gonna make it fire, baby’ in the recorded version even if they showed jungkook in the mv. they gave the line to jungkook for the live performances (and he killed it every time) but it’s originally jimin singing it in the song!
That’s why whenever I listened to this song I saw Jungkook singing parts in the MV that sounded like it was Jimin singing.
Another instance of This in this same song is Jin’s first part in the live performance where in the studio version Jimin sings but in the video they show Jin. Apparently Jimin had a lot of lines in the studio version so they gave 2 of his lines to jungkook and Jin.

no the color coded was right, Jimin did the high note and for some reason they showed jungkook on his part ( i dunnu why either ) and after that Jungkook became the one who do the high note on the concert, but originaly ( the voice on the song ) was Jimin's
I remember it was something due to choreography problems. Like after the highnote, Jimin had to be in another position after the note and he couldn’t make it there...? Idk, I remember something like that.

They did the same thing with Jin just after V's part in the MV where he mouthed Jimins line
they always change the line distribution to fit the choreography
I mean they do stuff like that pretty often. They’ll have it be someone’s part in the track, but change it when it comes to live version cause of choreography reasons, not really out of the ordinary 💀

5:09 It is Jimin :) To be exact, It's Jimin's voice in the song but Jungkook sings the part when they perform. They change their parts in some songs for live performance. For example, in Spring day, the first line "I miss you" is RM's part in the song, but when they perform, It's J-hope's part.
I do honestly think that “Dope” is manageable but when you watch “Baepsae” I think that’s the time you will ask yourself if they’re allowed to do this thing 😂 that’s the first thought that comes to my mind when I watched “Baepsae” btw always love your content if you want to react to “Baepsae” I highly recommend that you should watch their compilation that would be fire 🔥🔥🔥

4:29, unfortunately in older songs Jin wasn’t given a lot of lines as he was just considered more of the good-looking one rather than one who can sing or dance. It’s sad because he’s an amazing singer and he practiced so much. He has a lot more lines now, but still not as much as he should, he’s one of my favourite vocalists in kpop 💜

You don't have to apologize. Actually, Jimin is the high-note part. There's a difference between the stage version and the song version. Jungkook does high-note parts when he's on stage, but Jimin does high-note parts in the song.🤣🤣🤣

The mv distributed the lines of that bridge differently than it actually was so u were right! When jimin mouths two lines, the first line was actually jungkook’s and jimin sad the second. Then when jungkook mouthed the second part, the first line was his and jimin sang the last line.
