I loved the scenery. I have so many hunts without finding silver and great relics, but that's the nature of the hunt. Thanks for sharing. see you next time.

That item at 5:38 is the end off a single tree. It was definitely used for farming. It looks like you found the entire single tree with the wooden part rotted away. Nice adventure! Take care and happy hunting.

Good to see you back out. Good, realistic vid. Not always about the finds. It's good to just get away from our everyday "stuff" for a bit.
The old ones fastened rings on their sleds and wagons to secure items during transport.
Have a similar legend here as well.

Well you certainly find a lot of good stuff. I love to find relics over the usual silver coins! The piece on 5:48, did find out what it was? Really interesting!

If is only 1 horse pulling it would be called a single tree and 2 horses it is a double tree

it's called a dowsing rod...bought mine back in the 70's, still works for me. or if you want check out some "map dowsing videos" I use that 1st, then the rod on the site. or you could just wander around aimlessly and hope you get lucky. that never worked for me too well. Good Luck !

Looks like you found the remains of an 1800s "tree" for attaching a team of horses to a wagon: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whippletree_(mechanism)
