I loved the scenery. I have so many hunts without finding silver and great relics, but that's the nature of the hunt. Thanks for sharing. see you next time.
That item at 5:38 is the end off a single tree. It was definitely used for farming. It looks like you found the entire single tree with the wooden part rotted away. Nice adventure! Take care and happy hunting.
Good to see you back out. Good, realistic vid. Not always about the finds. It's good to just get away from our everyday "stuff" for a bit. The old ones fastened rings on their sleds and wagons to secure items during transport. Have a similar legend here as well.
Thanks for watching Jeff! I like to have some decent finds in every video but it doesnt always work out that way! I just wanted to post something to say hi and keep in contact with everyone :) Things are going a lot better too so more videos to come!
Well you certainly find a lot of good stuff. I love to find relics over the usual silver coins! The piece on 5:48, did find out what it was? Really interesting!
it's called a dowsing rod...bought mine back in the 70's, still works for me. or if you want check out some "map dowsing videos" I use that 1st, then the rod on the site. or you could just wander around aimlessly and hope you get lucky. that never worked for me too well. Good Luck !

That's a nice iron horse! Hope you keep at the mission to find the money.
Will there be any followups?
Plan on it! Gonna keep going there during my free time if I dont have another spot to go to
Hey I was looking forward to another video. Taking my daughter out this weekend. I would love to find an ax head!
Good luck when you get out!

That's for sure. Have you found anything interesting lately?
@@1894Outdoors Going out tomorrow for 1st time since March COVID 😷
Glad your making it out! Have fun and let me know what you find!
Lots of horse-related iron finds, which are way cool to me! I enjoyed the hunt, and who knows? You might find that stash yet!😊💖
Yea it was a fun hunt. I'm currently detecting an amazing permission I csnt wait for the video to come out
any day out detecting is tons better than sitting on the couch
That's for sure
Amen to that
Done for today..now I think I’ll sit on the couch. Lol...and watch detecting videos. 👌🏻👍🏻
That's my plan now that its raining!
You're going to find it!!
The first mystery item was a modern brick tie. Good luck
Thanks! Helps me learn!
My best find so far is a civil war artillery shell
That is amazing I'd love to dig a artillery shell! I've only found minnie balls so far
The ring things are for where the horse is hooked to the equipment forget what there called but they all go together connected with one piece of wood
Very interesting makes sense why they where all togethor then
If is only 1 horse pulling it would be called a single tree and 2 horses it is a double tree

I think that every town has a Legend like that one. But that doesn’t mean it’s not true.
My family used to say that civil war soldiers camped nearby and that turned out true! So who knows
Looks like you found the remains of an 1800s "tree" for attaching a team of horses to a wagon: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whippletree_(mechanism)
Very cool thank you!
Creeks Brad...coins then didn't rot or rust
Getting a wet suit asap!
I hope that properly filled that big hole back in ! Otherwise you give other detectorists a bad image !
Don't worry I do! I try very hard to keep everything looking the same as when I came
