@nageljeuk Scientific research has been proven wrong many times, the bible has never been proven wrong. There are a lot of genres and of course you can't say he's better than Mozart, but he's definitely one of the best Prog Rock keyboardists. Your logic is undeniable. 'Prove that he does not have level of a concert pianist by showing you're better.', this argument is a fallacy for two reasons: 1: If we would both have the level of a concert pianist but I slightly better. Even though completing your task, Jordan Rudess still has the level of a concert pianist, proven true that which is false (logical fallacy) 2: Assuming he doesn't have the level of a concert pianist, but I can't play the piano. I would prove false that which is true.
@madpiratetommy There is no research showing that there is evolution? From Darwin (And even before that) all the way until today (yes this very moment), there is reasearch going on about Evolution. The only reason why we can't erase the words "Theory of" infront of "Evolution" is because of religion, which can't unfortunately be disaproven (just like evolution, btw). Read a book that's not the bible please. Educate yourself.
No, he's not the worst pianist ever, a random five year old isn't 'the worst ever', it's a hyperbole. I mean that a lot of 'metal' kiddies have made themselves believe that Rudess has the level of a concert pianist, that's bullshit, he has a typical 'I dropped out of classical education and focussed on rock music instead' piano sound, awful.. he can hit the notes all right, his dynamics however suck..

This guy has to be the worst pianist ever. A computer can get as much emotion into a Christmas song and be technically more perfect even. There's a reason that piano plays are not yet performed by a computer at the start of the twenty-first century and that is simply that technical perfection isn't everything.
