Yeah there was, a 140ft deep pit that the dragline was digging the coal from and casting to the 992. Trust me it was a narrow setup, otherwise he would have moved the trucks over
If I won the lottery I'd buy a 992 just for the fun of it. How much bigger is the 994? My brother in law operated the 992 and 994, he said where the 992 had a bit of trouble the 994 dug right into the rock no problem.
I loaded 777's with a old piece of shit 992C with a short boom. The 777's were brand new. They had the red light on the side. You would load it will the green light came on. You could really screw yourself if you didn't load it correctly. Had to start from the far side, if not you would send trucks away without a full load. Anybody who does this for a living knows that will get your ass run off.
Another fine video, love the sound of that big loader

+roger brandt The 4 is more than double the size of the 992
I like the lookbof the d series 777 and oldr the new ones just look weird
real gear here!
Is this the first year they switched over to the joystick steering?
hard working cats
Loader has the Z bar linkage for rollback, hold and dump.
Are you planning on doing a documentary on the 992D?
Yes, along with the 992B and 992C
On the 992, yes
Thanks
That' s a little bigger than our 988's
These 992 loaders are so slow loading triple 7s when compared to a O&K RH120 face shovel
Not with an actual operator running them!
He had those trucks setup pretty badly unless there was something to the left stopping them from moving over more
Nice machines y'all run 994s still?
Have that one got one of them Cat Certified Rebuilds?
This guy needs to learn how to position those haul units
Justin I would love to operate that machine for a whole shift for nothing wooooooh!
Well then I may not want to go home after that LOL
