Hello, My Subclass 476 application has been approved 3 days ago. I have a year to land in Australia. After landing in Australia, I will have 18 month of work visa. Just like any immigrant I want to have PR too. I am interested in the TEFA mechanic program. As far as I know, TEFA programs usually take 2 years. But I will have only 18 month visa. What would happen if my visa expires? Can I have a student visa before it finishes? Will Australia let me have 2 years of work visa to get jobs in mechanics after TEFA ends? Do you have any students with 476 visa and How do they make it work to get PR?
