summary of what happened:
natalia was afk, an ally set her to "stay at home/base"
we all went back to the base/well
we did not attack any enemies
we waited 3 minutes in game
then a messaged popped up that says we can now leave because of the AFK.
also, this was in Solo Queue.
I understand that a lot of people don't know this yet thats why its hard to achieve this in solo queue. but thats why I made this vid, to let as much people know about it, right? :P

Just a fact, even you die or one of your team or your enemy and even your team still play until the system says 'you have 1 minute to surrender'or whatever it is, it will still works but remember to surrender before 1 minute is over.

DAREDEVIL DEV it's very unreliable, people who doesn't know this won't be able to trigger invalid matches. Moonton didn't even mention how to trigger it.
I agree that moonton didn't even tell or announce on a update but it automatically sent a massage to the team that has a afk player to surrender already to make it invalid game because its unfair to have a 4v5 in a match right?!
This video should be highlited in the first screen when opening Mobile Legends, after every log in !!! This shall never be avoided, it's extremely important!!

It's not a perfect video at all. It doesn't even tell us the exact conditions of triggering an invalid match. It should have done more research and told us more.

Here's the Draft Pick rules
'If a player has disconnected from the game and 3 minutes have passed without first blood notification, the team can opt to surrender. Only the afk player and his/her friends playing in the same match will be punished, the rest of the player's stars (including the opponent's stars) will not be affected.

@Shy BananaThe video is outdated. The only criteria to be followed is for one player to be afk since the start of the game and not reconnect for the next 3 minutes.

Guys when one of your teammates is afk, stay him/her at base but you and your teammates is defending because there is possible that all of your enemies will go in any lane together and destroy the turret and your base until it takes 3 mins so defend not stay at base except for the one who is afk
Daniel Magyawe true ive experienced invalid game. Only the one afk stay in the base. The rest can go and defend. The system will trace that there is an afk player and the notice to surrender will shows up.
This happened to me on a classic game when my game crashed. I had to restart my game and when I was in the match I thought all my teammates were AFK but they're just doing this.
Ive experienced this and there are also kills, deaths, push from our team and the enemy team and it was 7 mins when the enemy conceded and it was still invalid.
I think 2 of them got afk and the rest was still roaming around.
so as long there is any afk player n all the rest stayef for 3 min under HQ the system will conclude thr match as invalid match?

If you have an AFK , don't stay at home because he might come back then you'll lose the game , try to farm and avoid fights for the 1st 3 mins, if he didn't comeback you'll still receive that invalid game message & if he came beck just continue.
it doesn't matter if you get killed... still the game is invalid if your afk teammate didn't come back after 3 mins.

Only in low ranks... in higher ranks there’s nothing but frustration taking over, I end up banning more than one person almost every match with AFK ally. I wish it’s the same with VG when you can surrender and not lose points when ally goes AFK, it makes ranking up much more fair.

One of the enemy was AFK.. All push the mid lane, and the game is ended in exactly 3 minutes even before the enemy team can invalidate the match.. Easy victory :D

I've experienced this also. To invalid the game, you must make sure not to kill an enemy hero and no one dies on your team as well until the 3min mark. :)

You don't have to stay in base to do this, you can continue playing until you get the warning.
because there's a chance that the afk will recon, that way you can still def your towers.

I've encountered a lost of two stars in two of the match for successfully making the match an invalid battle when one of our team went afk during hero selection mode..
But I was super surprised to see that I lost a star after making the match an invalid..

Happened to us, but on the other side of the fence. We all just pushed mid and were able to penetrate their base. I guess they panicked and started to fight back, but it was all in vain.

Putu Esa you can get 0-5 average ms during noontime and past midnight, usually not peak hours, if you're using fiber internet.

PHENOMENAL ONE Optic fiber internet, it's much faster and more stable than mobile internet and dsl. You can avail it on any internet service provider, but it is advisable to avail it on PLDT or Converge (Philippines)

If your friend is afk while playing with you during the ranked game (epic and above) you will also lose the start if you afk more than 3 mins with your friend

But in epic above which is draft pick, an option to surrender will be presented if a team has players who disconnect within the first 3 mins. of the game. The team of the player, who disconnected from the game, can vote to surrender within 3-4 mins. If the vote is in favor of surrender, the disconnected player and his or her friends in the game will be punished. The stars of the other player will not be affected. Tnx

its actually fine. you can kill and you can b killed by your opponents. its doesnt matter as long as it reaches 4 mins the system will automatically sends you confirmation to quit or not.

This is fucking useless. Shin you got lucky enemy wanted first blood instead of your turrets. In my match the enemy took down our base in three minutes and we lost star. Happened many times

Yeah I tried but I was tank. Problem is if we get the first blood too then it won't work. If we happen to attack enemy a bit and they dive turret and feed. We get first blood
I did try defending turret a bit but I had balmond and couldn't do much against aggressively charging turret diving enemy. And their Argus used ulti to tank while everyone else locked tower and finished the game
