I’ve been no contact with my mom and the majority of my family for over a year now and I’ve been feeling a lot of guilt especially with the holidays. She kicked me out when i came out as trans and her boyfriend was being bigoted. And I’ve had a constant splitting headache for 3 days now (I’m dehydrated)
Pile 3 describes how I was during my period of trauma when my child was removed from my care by social services after going through narcissistic abuse aswel ... I'was told pile 3 is relevant to me . But yet now I am calm and well and in a good position in life ...and have resolved this situation for the most part. My child is 14 , she was placed with my parents ,, and now we all work together in a harmonious way. It took about 8 years though ..and of course my daughter and I still carry the effects of the trauma of being separated from each othe. She was only 3 years old. It was utterly heartbreaking and devastating . I developed an addiction to speed to cope with my life after that . But of course it made things worse .I still cope with some of the undesirable ways my mother has been with her in raising her is something we both still deal with . Out of the blue I inherited some money , I now have a house and a car and that changed how people saw me and related to me . Interesting that when you have a bit of money and some resources people suddenly see you in a new light . she is with me often ,every weekend I have a lovely space for her and we can do things together we never could before , go on road trips together . When I was poor my parents didn't help me get a leg up ,vwith driving lessons or anything ! It was constantly demoralising .I was frantic for my child too ...I felt so powerless . I ve had to forgive them everything and begin to work with them ...fighting them didnt work !. .now she is still in kinship care out of choice , as a team . I feel like we all had to resolve these ancient patterns in our family . I'm watching and interested to see what the secret is .in the family . ? Maybe this also happened to a previous ancencstor of mine .I've always had issues with my solar plexus chakra feeling like the way you described from time to time ....my motther ignored my emotional needs alot of the time as a child and my dad sexualally abused me and denied it , well . How can a preference be or not be love? You opened me up to the perspective my family has I never looked at & makes perfect sense.
