Just curious why when making the lids, instead of using the tape and pouring above the pipe, you don't just have the bottom mold turned the other way and use the rest of the pipe for the lid?
@Logaan777 there is a lip on the inside of the pipe where things can get stuck. I have done another way where I just taped up the base and poured the lid that way. Also pretty stuck on making the long molds. Not sure I would make mine this way again unless I had a larger need for it. After a while you will find what works for you and what you don't like. If you want to flip it the way you suggested, I'm sure it will work. Just be mindful of that inside lip.
Update/Fix. When measuring, it is 4 inches. The number on the PVC Coupling, and in store, is listed as 3 in. Link in the description of the one I have.
