He definitely repeats certain stories/ideas in various interviews. But...they're always interesting and he seems to repeat them because the kernel of the idea actually truly matters to him. And....he talks about TONS of things...so it's not like the guy is short on content lol. He's a very intelligent and interesting person....kinda obsessed tbh
His rant on monetizing reminds me why I love him and the band so much! He understands what fans have to go through to be emotionally invested in a singer! Or celebrity in general!
It makes me happy that his answer to the last questions completely revolved around the fanbase and he got so into the questions that it branched off in a different direction haha

+LIVE IN LIMBO Love me and The Sound are quite pop, but are still quite sonically and ideologically unique. I like the 1975's (as mentioned) organic approach to making music that I really appreciate. Pop music is quite generic these days, so when bands come out with great music that retains a unique sense of style is always refreshing. We always need artists to have unique qualities that are executed well to show us good and different music. I love their first album as well, and love the poppy hits such as heart out, girls, chocolate, as well as all of the other songs on both of their albums. Sonically, lyrically descriptive, I love the guitar riffs and production of the songs.
falling for you was tear-worthy.😍😭 'Me' was hard to watch because he had asked everyone to put their phones away, since the song is so important to him and he wanted it to be just him and the fans with no disconnect, but still people RIGHT near me had their phones blatantly out, filming with no shame😑 I'm like he asked you to do ONE thing; so disrespectful to Matty. Just film your favorite part of a song, then put your phone away and ENJOY the concert; experience it without the interruption of technology!😫 I'm just so happy he sang old songs though💕 At our concert, he unfortunately didn't sing This Must Be My Dream or Nana😔
