I lost my dad several years ago when I was fifteen. Hearing you play pulled me right back into the grieving process. Every emotion.
0:00-0:56 - The "pretty" cry. The cry that society and actresses want to see. It's the cry that you do in your room after finding out the news. You're proud that you are holding yourself together in those moments.
0:57-1:27 - This is when you hear the eulogies for the person that you are grieving. They were such an amazing person. Brought so much love and light into this world How could they leave?
1:28-2:10 - The anger starts to build. The tension in your heart. The price that you pay for love: grief.
2:11-2:38 - Your world fell apart. You can literally see the pieces falling down into some black hole. You can't imagine possibly going through this and being ok someday.
2:39-3:06 - While you are going through the tirade in your room, something makes you stop immediately. You catch a glimpse of the picture you have in your room of the person you are grieving. There is still anger at them for leaving you, but what use is the anger going to do at a picture that is bringing you so much love.
3:07-4:23 - So you cry. You sit in the fetal position on your couch or bed or the floor. You know that you're going to be ok, but everything just royally suxx right now. You hear faint laughter coming from the other room. It's your family members, probably reminiscing about the amazing times. You can't wait to meet them again, someday.
I don't know if you played the piece before or after finding out the passing of your grandmother, but it was full of emotion and was a pleasure to listen to. I am sending you so much love to you and your whole family.

I'm not a musician, just a listener, but I would like you to know that your treatment of Op.10 No.3 delights me. I have been studying the piece, as a listener, for a few weeks now, and had found only two interpretations on RUclips that satisfied me: those of Vladimir Horowitz in a recording from 1951 and of Arthur Rubinstein on a Barbirolli/LSO recording of unknown date. Neither was completely satisfying: I preferred Rubenstein's clear articulation of the forte middle passage, but found his treatment of the opening and closing passages slightly wooden in comparison to the soft lyricism that Horowitz gives them. Your performance has not only Horowitz's lyricism and Rubenstein's clear articulation, but something more. Your pacing and your touch seem to me to give the whole peice a conversational tone, a feeling of active, current romance rather than languid remembrance of something long past. I can't speak for your grandmother, but I hope that she would find the same satisfaction that I do and be proud of you.

I can feel your pain and sorrow,
    Hope you'll be better tomorrow.
Your playing has touched me deep,
So much that I almost weep.

Smashing performance ! The middle part is some assault course. And you make short work of it. Kudos !

Lovely heartfelt piece - the unique chords chosen at 1:50 and 2:00 make it more 'Tristesse' than the original composition. God bless

The music played strongly speaks louder than the words, your grandma will enjoy the music, and may you find much needed strength in this hard moment.
