Great videos. The Minneapolis-Moline tractor and pull-type picker-sheller looked fantastic! Was it doing a good job? Any idea what the corn yield runs on those HCOP plots? Thanks again. Skål!
Dad had a Massey 300 . He bought it used in 1976. Unfortunately it was in disrepair and we had lots of problems with it…. Traded it in 3 years later. Thanks for the memories.
Oh sure, them big bad a** 45 foot headers. Or whatever they are on these combines and big tractors today. Are great, but I think it'll be better if we all just got back to basics. Farmers have been farming for centuries without all that electronic b.s
Thanks for posting. Takes me back to when I was a kid.
Just imagine how many family farms that old equipment supported and built. Incredible. Thank you for sharing!
Cool to see them harvesting the corn 😎👍

Rural communities were much better off with an abundance of small farms.
I believe this is the first time I have seen a MF 300 in a HCOP video. I am happy!
Great footage y'all! Where were the ''Gleaners''?
1:09 thats my uncle! what a time
You going to get footage of the corn pickers? This was good thanks👍
Thanks. Yes there will be videos of the corn pickers aswell :)
Great! That 3300 JD looked pretty cool too!

How early did they plant this corn for it to be brown and dry already? here in Ohio all the corn is still green.
It's usually 90 day corn vs 115 day that is normally used
It was killed with salt water
There were late season sprayer tracks in it in several places
Was there a 315 international combine there

First combine was a MF 205
Back when sex was safe, and farming was dangerous.😆
