I'm in the minority but I find Chelsea looking for prospects refreshing rather than going after these huge signings that sometimes don't end up working out being on huge wages I don't know how after Lukaku everybody can be so gung-ho about signing a big name that we have never seen do it in the Premier League. I'm excited by Marc Guiu mostly because he reminds me of Pedro if Pedro was a 6-ft tall Killer Instincts and skillful ballplay not just physical attributes. I personally think Pedro was severely underrated and under maresca Pedro and his prime would be good enough to challenge for the league

Guiu doesn't need to be different to Jackson. Jackson just needs some help. If anything Guiu should be similar to Jackson. Washington I don't know enough about but since it's "only" Guiu I don't think this is the end of him. I expect them to fight for the remaining minutes behind Jackson. And don't forget that Stutter, Whisper and McNeilly might also be in the mix for that.

Eg chevchenco, Torres, higuian, morata, werner, harvertz, lukaku, Auba, etc. Jackson in his first season did better than all of them in their first season. Sometimes, if you do something continuously and it doesn't work for you, you try another thing. And I think what they're doing is good cuz a low profile striker without the pressure of being bought expensive from the media will be able to play his normal game.
