The first Japanese wedding I attended was so stressful figuring out what to wear (it was hubby’s hs friend’s wedding, I knew no one and of course was the only foreigner)!
For slightly less expensive options, axes femme actually has a line specifically for these sorts of occasions! ☺️

Yes I love the axes femme range! It’s always good quality and appropriate, just so sad there is no size range for their formal wear!!!

It was soooo useful! Thanks a lot! I was in the fitting room trying a bunch of floral-pattern dresses when I had the feeling Something was wrong 😅and your video saved me! Arigatoooo

Thanks for making this informative video! I know you touched a bit on the guest's hairstyles, but do you know of any good websites that showcases more on updos for long hair to Japanese weddings?

Hi there, Grace! This video was soooo useful. I've been invited to a wedding in Japan with my husband (both of us are Mexican). The dress code we received mentions no flower accessories and no pure black. Can you explain to me about those points? I understand that would include no floral patterns, too, right? Thanks!!!

I am wondering about hair colour. What if it happens hat your hair has a bright colour like bright pink or red? O_O

In Japanese weddings, it is considered improper etiquette for women to go barefoot. Wearing stockings is considered proper etiquette.

Ohh, only 300$ for the gift for the bride and groom? Is it per couple?
I was honestly expecting more. In Romania we pay around 225$ (for a couple), and sometimes more if we go to a family member wedding.
Thank you for the great video! Good to know if I ever get invited to a Japanese wedding (as I have relatives there)😅

Yes $300 for the bride and groom together. That sounds like a lot of money in Romania! Weddings in other cultures are always so interesting, I hope you have a chance to enjoy a Japanese wedding someday!
