Good video thank you I was wondering if you can save locations maybe you found a good spot to put a tree stand or where you parked your car something like that so you can get back to a spot later on
Great question. There’s a couple different ways you can go about it. If it’s a PO Box it’s a little bit harder but the approach is generally still the same. You can take the PO Box address or the physical address and search it in Google and see if you can’t find a general phone number to call. If that doesn’t work, you can utilize your states secretary of states office. Here in Oregon I can use that and search a business name and it will show me the articles of incorporation that that business had to file when they opened. On the paper is a phone number of the person who started the business and that’s who I usually call.
Property that’s within city limits is almost always not huntabke due to it being around so many people. Which makes sense that you shouldn’t be shooting at a court park. Each state is a bit different but that’s where Google comes in handy to try and get a phone number to call if there is a piece of property that you’re especially interested in hunting. Hope this helps!
Question do you know you can hunt on it because it’s simply public or because it’s public and owned by BLM. I have a lot of county owned land around me not necessarily by state directly. Does one just simply look for posted signs of hunting is permitted
Be careful near private land. Using onx on my private land, the property line is 75' off east-west, pretty close north-south. It's not on-x's fault, on-x uses the county tax map, and it isn't correct. Find a registered survey monument like a property corner near you and compare it to on-x. My state doesn't require me to post signs, it requires hunters to know, and most use some sort of app.
Super helpful. Thank you!!!!

How do you go from a tax address that is often times a PO box or far from the physical location to a private landowner phone number?

@@TheBeginningHunter thanks! That is a helpful start.
How do you know if the public land is huntable or not. For instance city property or in city limits

Thanks .
Czeslaw Rogalski glad to help. Feel free to give me a shout if you ever have any additional questions!
I have a question. With this app, can you obtain property owner information in a city/town as well as in the mountains/forests?
MrBlueSkyNM yep, sure can! It’ll provide you owner information on any property in the county as well as a town or city 👍👍
@@TheBeginningHunter Thanks man! I sure appreciate the quick response. I forgot to tell you that you did a great job on the video! ATB!
MrBlueSkyNM glad to help! Best of luck out there!

With this app does it tell you if a private land that lease for public hunting?
It will only show who owns the property. So a lease isn’t ownership so no it wouldn’t detail that 👍
On public lands is the green area huntable land?
Generally speaking, yes as long as it is marked public land.
Could you use this feature with premium and not elite?
Yes you can use these features with either membership!
and what is the green shadow land?
What are the color differences?
Amber Schaefer the differences in color represent the difference in land ownership in your state.
I bought the premium on x hunt for all layers but it won't let me turn on my blm lands and private lands please help me!!!
This is now a pay by the year app.
Is there a way to see borders for free?
Can you show how to buy land on that app
Evan do be smirking a whole lot
Like the channel just subscribed! Just started my trapping channel too stop in
B.N. Outdoors that’s awesome. Good timing too, I’ve been looking into trapping here in Oregon so I’ll check it out!
Egh. Everything looks different on the canada app and there's no clear option for this

Same, just had my survey done a year ago and public records are not accurate. I’ve tried to get it fixed by the county but nothing has changed .
Could you do a video of explaining the regulations for blm land ?
