i have a diffuser coming that has that rain light. I bought a splice adapter, so hopefully i can use your video to connect things up. i may have questions... haha.
@@Vaguh Looking at doing this on my B9 .5 audi S4 I already bought the diffuser and I have it but I haven't installed it because I want to know what I need to go by so then I can do the brake light properly any advice I see that you said a splice adapter and a set of splice clamps is that everything?
I bought the side skirts for my 2023 s5 madr by Karbel Carbon but the 3m will not hold. Contrary to what Karbel indicated. I had it professionally installed and it still would not hold. Any suggestions on permanent adhesive/automotive epoxy to mount the side skirts?
@@labemolon5739 the tape they provide isn’t as good as the VHB. I also used self taping screws since I got to the track and regularly see triple digits.
@@Vaguh yah I was thinking of 3d printing 3 flat mounts, using 3m VHB on the mount, then heat tap threaded inserts, and screwing it down. I’m in the South West of the US, VHB wouldn’t last long in triple digits and high speeds. BTW, what year is your Audi? I’m wiring the Karbel diffuser this week and am hoping your wiring colors will be the same for mine…otherwise multimeter time :/
Hey I had question , 2019 S5 sportsback and I have the Apr stage 1 and intake and awe track exhaust but I wanta upgrade my intercooler and I wanted to upgrade my turbo , any recommendations
Sure. At this time, I like the IE intercooler 034Motorsport Stage 3 tune. I’m running the TTE810 currently, it’s faster than the 710, but a little more laggy, despite what people say. Both are great for pushing the car, just depends on what you’re looking for. If you hit the track stage 3 is worth it. Otherwise, stage 2 feels fastest for daily driving, only you regularly wind your RPMs up to 7k, which is also fun.
The way you wired it… Are there 2 stages to the light? Example: running with lights on, and a secondary brighter for when you press the brakes? I just ordered one and will be wiring it soon.
If they made one without that light I might have been interested, but it seems the only rear diffusers that exist all have that. In my opinion it is hideous. I got the carbon imports V2 wing and love that though.
Maybe you've been asked this question a million times but I'm trying to decide between a low milage 2018 S5 stage 2 nicely put together or a higher milage RS5 stock. Being you have extensive experience with these cars which would you recommend?
@@Vaguh 2019 sportback, i figure an ecu/tcu stage 1 would suffice since the rs5 hardware is a notch better than the s5, but the s5 has over 12k upgrades.
@@Leo.SKDXL05 my gut says go RS5, it’s an RS and amazing vehicle. I still prefer my S5, but it’s stage 3 and has almost all the suspension upgrades you can do, works great for daily driving and on the track. With the RS, the suspension will be a little stiffer and if you want to go for more power, it’ll be more expensive, but unless you track the car, that might not matter to you.

I am having the exact same issue with a 2023 RSQ8 Karbel rear spoiler. 3m VHB wont hold both sides down.

I've been trying to get ahold of Karbel, no luck....
I ordered through here. They’re made to order so it took about 2 months.

Multiple reasons. But I’m working on it this week.
