I was diagnosed at age 6, and needed chemo due to pulmonary effusions (on both lungs). Cautiously optimistic

15 years Nathan? Most, if you are lucky with out anything found in your FISH, may be 5 year. For many of us post Chemo, CLL is 2 to 3 years before next treatment. False hope like this isn’t helpful!!!

I was diagnosed at the age of 42, I didn’t need chemo till 3️⃣ yrs later, do to a high white cell count. Then, again 3 yrs later but, that second time around it was bit more aggressive. This will be my 3rd time, that, I am getting ready to start chemo but, this time, I will only have to only 2 rounds of treatment. This time, I will have to have a biopsy for a different reason than that second time around. However, I have been in remission this time close to 5 yrs. Another thing is, I also have Scleroderma and, it takes nothing for me to normally get sick at the drop of the hat with pneumonia, bronchitis and, respiratory and, sinus infections but, the more, I get the chemotherapy drugs in my system the more and more, I have been able to keep these sicknesses at bay. I am just curious if, anyone has had severe stomach issues? This is the second time around that the issue has been with my stomach and it gets unbearable with the pain. And, I tend to have a lot of fatigue, but, it’s hard a lot of times to sleep because, of the pain.

Taking a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water helps adjust stomach acidity.
