I am a big fan of this series and a little piece of feedback I would give is you could add part 1 part 2 part 3 etc. to all the post so people can know how far you are into the series. 👍👍👍
I really enjoy your series that your doing. As i am just starting out as well. Makeing me rethink things like my margin of profit. I would like to make a big profit but the small ones add up. So I gota be more willing to take a smaller profit on cards rather be looking at everything and not buy anything due ill only maybe 10 or 20 bucks after fees on ebay because i wana make a bigger profit.. I just need to do it and a profit is a profit. Just think im over thinking certain things.
Small wins lead to big wins! I focus on % growth a lot more than dollars. If someone turns $1 into $1000 that's significantly more expensive than turning $5000 into $6000 in my mind
I'm the worst for overthinking. I've collected for years off and on but now I want to try and make profits. I'm wanting to buy baseball but don't have alot of money in my budget so I'm overthinking who, graded, not graded, raw to grade, it's frustrating.
@@ritchiehorton4157 i have been trying for ungraded singles. But have been trying to find some lots as well. Im not to sure if im going to focus on one sport for but for now i am.
Spent $80 on 2 prism blasters. First ones. Sold a daniels for $180. Still have over $100 value in cards. One being a silver jj mccarthy. Plus another silver rookie.
Glad you liked the video! No baseball game has ever beat MVP 2005 I don’t even want to know how much time I spent playing that game but it was glorious lol
Great video. I'm a little older and getting back into collecting so it is a bit overwhelming with all of the variations of cards available. Right now I am just collecting for my pc so I can get more familiar with the new stuff. Thanks for the series as well as the other ones on the channel!
Thanks for checking it out! Starting off with the PC is always great and then slowly work to expand knowledge. You're never going to know everything about everything instead focus in on areas that interest you!
Really enjoying this series. Really has me wanting to try something like this. I appreciate all the effort you’re putting in to educate and advise everyone.
That's actually how the whole set is interestingly enough. I've sold one of these before that I bought raw and graded and it had same centering and gemmed!
Talked about that a bit in a previous video, big thing is just finding the right rooms all trial and error to see who has stuff that's worth looking at and rooms where deals can be had
Great finds! I need to visit your card shows. Out of the 3 I’ve been to here in Indiana, every person is selling everything at or above eBay prices and don’t really negotiate at all. The $1 boxes are trash, mostly base and maybe a $2-$5 card if you’re lucky.
That's really tough gotta find the right dealers there's definitely guys here that are really overpriced and don't have stuff worth it but ive grown to learn who is worth working with and who I just walk past
Yeah Tommy Devito has a market because of his likability. Same thing with Jameis Winston his stuff sells really well and you can find him in value bins sometimes.
That Kobe. I also just picked up a Kobe on what not for a decent deal. On yours are you going to send it off for grading or post it for sale first?? And yes I like that card. I don’t think you can lose on a Kobe card.
Question on selling on ebay. Tried to list my 1st sale in years, a buy it now in a graded card at $25 and got error about exceeding $10 limit for the month. So i can only list 1 card for $10 or less in a month until i establish again? Any thoughts?
Never heard of a $10 limit. Account is limited to 250 free listings a month but haven't heard of a listing value limit. I'd reach out to eBay customer service

MVP baseball 2005 was the bomb! Still holds in my top 3 best sports video games of all time!
Doesnt get much better!

@CleverCubanCards I agree with you there. Thank you for opening my eyes up to a bigger picture.

I subscribed to this channel because of this Collector Challenge and so far you're doing a good job. 👍
Thanks for subscribing! Off to a good start really excited to see where it goes

Nice congrats on the hits! Opening boxes is so much fun but often times a losing game in the long run so its always nice to get a win
MVP Baseball 2005 shoutout was elite! Awesome video man.
Glad you liked the video! No baseball game has ever beat MVP 2005 I don’t even want to know how much time I spent playing that game but it was glorious lol
@ oh dude same haha I actually just bought a ps2 last year to play it again and it’s just as fun.
@@gebosportscards Love that must be super fun
Really like the series. I think the name of the game is getting a good entry price and something that I struggle with.
Absolutley. Finding the right deals is always key but at the end of the day it bottles down to getting into things at a good price
Love the big swing with the Kobe!!!!!
Sometimes you gotta shoot your shot! We'll see how it works out! At a minimum its not one I should lose on too badly if things go poorly

Thank you! It's fun to get to use my education background and love for cards together!
That Kobe looks great!
Its a really cool one and they unsurprisingly are fairly in demand hoping we are able to grade it (or just make a nice profit!)
That kobe will do great! Perfect timing with the nba all Star game to sell too.
Good call on all star game! I don't do a ton in the basketball market but know enough to be dangerous so hoping we can do well on it
you can't make money unless you spend money.. It still stand true to this day.. Digging this series..
Absolutley! Scared money don't make money!
I'm enjoying this series. That Kobe is a little off center. It's slightly to the right.
That's actually how the whole set is interestingly enough. I've sold one of these before that I bought raw and graded and it had same centering and gemmed!
Can you do a video about finding deals on whatnot
Talked about that a bit in a previous video, big thing is just finding the right rooms all trial and error to see who has stuff that's worth looking at and rooms where deals can be had
NICE FINDS!!
Thanks! Its always fun digging for diamonds

Football is back chat! When’s hockey hitting 😅😂
Hockey is one you'll never see 🤣 I don't know ANYTHING about hockey

Yup. A lot more goes into a players market than just pure performance on the field

Kobe about as safe as it gets NBA wise
Oooooo can I use this idea?!
Of course!

Post for sale until we can afford to grade if it sells great if not we'll grade it
@@CleverCubanCards If you did have the funds for this would you grade first ? Or post for sale raw?
Not to be morbid, but today’s the anniversary of his passing too. Likely to reignite some interest.
Oh wow I didn't catch or realize that at all! Crazy timing there
Love the content! Just sent you an email btw to connect further on some inventory.
Just replied!
